Like a fine wine,
Frank Marino has aged gracefully - being full of color and flavor and
possessing a great body. More than 20 years have passed since the
legendary La Cage first opened at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in 1985.
Skeptic casino owners first booked the show for only a three-month run
but with 20-year-old, Frank Marino’s unbridled determination; this was
definitely the start of something big. Today, Marino holds the title of
Las Vegas’ longest running headliner. La Cage is an energetic show
featuring superstar female impersonators recreating uncanny likenesses
of stars that range from Judy Garland to Britney Spears and Diana Ross
to J. Lo. Meanwhile, in his role as the show’s emcee and star, Marino
changes costumes between every act – bringing an international whirlwind
of couture to the stage with each bravura entrance. Marino always knew
he would become a star, even as a small child, growing up in New York.
What he didn’t realize was that he’d have to be dressed up in glittering
Bob Mackie gowns and strapped into towering Manolo Blahnik stilettos to
do so. And that’s before he gets into the wigs and jewels! "The ladder
of success was even harder to climb wearing high heels!" Marino wittily
quips. Now the name Frank Marino is forever immortalized with a star along the Las Vegas Walk of Fame, he has a key to the city, and a street bearing his name where he can drive his very own custom-painted love bug provided by Eric at Findlay Volkswagen. |

It’s no accident that the expression is show "business," because Marino is definitely a savvy businessperson having recently signed a 10-year, multi-million dollar contract. In other words, Marino will extend his reign as the undisputed "Queen of the Strip" for at least another decade. It is said that when tourists visit Las Vegas, there are three things they come for; gambling, a trip to Hoover Dam, and a chance to see Frank Marino. performing in all of his glory in the award-winning La Cage at the Riviera.
