Hi Mona,
I have
been married for almost 20 years. I have dreamed of having my own
business forever! Now that my children are all most grown and out of
the house (down to one) and he graduates High School this year. I
haven't been able to save much cash, other than in my 401K and
retirement and such. I am slowly climbing out of debt also. My
question is will my dream of owning my own prosperous business
ever come true?
My husband is
not supportive at all, he would for sure want to reap in the
benefits but will not assist me I feel for sure until it was
flourishing and established. He is not the "supportive" kind at
all. I often wonder how we have stayed together all these years but
that's a whole other story. So anyway do you feel that my ever
having my own business is a reality? On a side note, do you ever see
my husband being supportive of my desires to own my own business?

Dear Lady Entrepreneur,
You must stop
seeking permission from your husband (or anyone else) to begin your
business. I want you to imagine that there is no resistance to
having what you want. As a matter of fact, I’d like you to begin a
search on Google to see if there are grants available to you for
seed money and I’d also like you to read three books:
The Superbeings
by Price
The Four
Agreements
by Ruiz
Creative
Visualization
by Gawain
As a spirit, we
typically choose important people in our lives for the specific
lessons of this lifetime. Some of those people are very supportive
and agree with our vision and some of those people fight our vision.
If you have chosen someone close to you that doesn’t (on the
surface) appear to support your vision it simply means that if you
are strong enough to get past that person’s objections, then you can
get past ANY person’s objections. They are playing the role of
“Devil’s Advocate” to TEST you on your own seriousness about your
vision.
The cards
indicate a breakthrough for you by November of this year. The
breakthrough comes from you researching business start-up ideas from
government or legal sources. I want you to treat your husband’s
remarks as though he told you a very funny joke…stop taking his
critical nature seriously!
You are smart
enough and talented enough to figure this out. This weekend, prepare
a two-page business plan for your idea and begin believing that you
already OWN this business, because in your heart and mind, you
already do! Don’t worry so much about how it will happen, just
concentrate on the fact that it will.
I can’t wait
to visit your new business!
