NBA weekend coming up has been the talk of Las Vegas and Los Angeles and for that matter the entire country. Just hot off the press, let’s start with Studio 54 at the MGM Grand; Basketball idols James Silas, Julius “Dr. J” Irving, George Gervin and Clyde Drexler; plus Grammy-nominated music legends The O’Jays will be walking the red carpet for Wednesday, February, 14th (Valentine’s Day). On Thursday the 15th through the 19th the NBA All Star Jam Session at the Mandalay Bay Events Center, promises to be a big success.

The big buzz however; is at the Alladin Hotel and Casino where Nelly and Jermaine Dupree is presenting the SoSo Derrty Experience on February 15th through the 18th. |

All other events will be held in the Grand Ballroom. Those events are Friday the 16th - The Big Ticket Party $100 - $200 VIP, also the Celebrity Poker Tournament with Carmelo Anthony and Floyd Mayweather Jr., just to name a few starts at 1pm with a buy in of $2100.00per person and the winner takes $100,000. Saturday the 17th is The Rat Pack Party also $100 - $200 vip, Sunday the18th is King Magazines - Apple Bottom’s Pajama Party $100 - $200 vip. This is said to be the biggest party scene in Vegas.
But, we can’t forget about Sean Puffy Combs and his party at the Icehouse on Main Street in Downtown Las Vegas. ALL STAR VEGAS 07 events are T.I. and Young Jeezy on Friday the 16th and P. Some of the celebrities who have arrived early for the NBA weekend, attended the Gala event entitled “Keep Memory Alive” for the Lou Ruvo Brain Institute held at the MGM Grand conference center. Actresses Teri Hatcher, Hilary Duff and Lorraine Brocco were available to talk to the press. “Vegas is one of my favorite places, I Love it”, said Hilary Duff. “I also believe in supporting worthwhile causes such as; the Lou Ruvo Brain Institute”. Duff’s most popular role is in the Hit Movie Material Girls (2006) where she played Tanzie Marchetta. |

Teri Hatcher who plays Susan Mayer in Desperate Housewives also attended the event. Hatcher is filming the new animated movie Coraline based on Neil Gaiman's short children's novel. Lorraine Bracco who plays Dr. Jennifer Melfi in The Sopranos who supports Larry Ruvo the founder of Keep Memory Alive, has relatives with Alzheimer’s.
