The Walter Tambolini Story

Walter Tambolini, a hero in the community

Walter Tambolini lives by the motto: it’s not what you accomplish, it’s what you overcome to accomplish your goals. Those words never spoke truer because this man today is an expert attorney here in Las Vegas, NV. He owns Tambolini Law Office P.C., located at 7381 West Charleston Blvd., Suite 110. But when you see this man standing at the Clark County District Courthouse steps or inside the courtroom itself, you see a man not only fighting for his client, but a man overcoming his disability.

Walter is partially paralyzed because of a tragic near fatal car accident. But he doesn’t want your pity, and he doesn’t need it. Walter gets around just fine with his crutches and even uses them as a trademark (if you will) as you can see in the photos La Voce took at the Clark County Regional Justice Center and in his print ad on the last page of the newspaper.

Walter has beaten his affliction and is using it to his benefit. He understands pain, and not just physical. The mental pain a person can suffer often leads people to do some rather bad things. He is an attorney who cares for his clients and is totally hands-on. He expressed that when you have a consultation at Tambolini Law Office, it will not be with anyone else but him.

Walter’s desire to help will someday spill over to public service. He ran for the Watervliet, New York City Council in 1973 and the Albany County, New York Coroner in 1978 and 1980. The reason he ran for the coroner’s office is Walter has an extensive background in the medical field. In fact, Walter would have had a brilliant medical career, which terminated due to his inability to stand long hours in surgery after the accident. Along with his Albany Law School of Union University degree 1995-1998, Walter has degrees at Albany Medical College of Union University 1988-1991, Ross University School of Medicine, Dominica, W.I. 1986-1988, Albany Medical College of Union University 1980-1984, State University of New York at Albany 1978-1980 and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute 1972-1975.

When asked what gives him drive he replied, “My strong Italian upbringing taught me to accept people openly, flaws and all. My parents sacrificed a lot to make sure the kids could get a great education. And to help a neighbor in need, and now Las Vegas is my neighborhood.”

Walter’s Italian roots are a source of great pride that has made him “a fan of La Voce” since he arrived in Las Vegas in January 2002. His great-grandfather settled in New York’s Little Italy after leaving Piacinza, Italy.

Las Vegas is lucky to have such a great man who gives back to the community. Walter plans on creating an inner city medical center in the near future to simply ‘help people.’ “I can’t go out and help people medically. My attorney fees are not set in stone. If someone needs help then I will help first and deal with expenses later. That is the way I operate,” concluded Walter.
