THE ARTV PRODUCTION team has been traveling back east to audition artists for the upcoming Awards event! September 29th, 2007, at the Palm Casino, Pearl Concert Theatre. Talent is coming in from Japan, South America, Miami Beach, New York and Chicago! We are very proud to announce two more wonderful Las Vegas artists to compete in this international presentation to be televised. Congratulations to CARMAN GRAY and MICHAEL GODARD, they have been nominated in the Painting categories.

In the downtown Arts district, the opening of a new artist co-op gallery, 1218 Fine Art Group, is really mixing it up! Seven different artists work and exhibit together in quite a flattering showcase. Steve Liquori, noted sculptor, whose works adorn the Hoover Dam, can be seen working on some of his smaller pieces, along with Leslie Rowland and her unique furniture, hammer away, while Steven Spann splashes his abstract canvases, faster than the eye can see…Dray, Jada Fire & Elizabeth Blau are also among this group.
