DUE TO OVERWHELMING requests, Diabetic Life has developed a new division called "Diabetic Life Kidz." This division will be operated by Kidz living with diabetes and also by other Kidz that are taking an active role in helping others who are living with diabetes.

The Kidz will have the opportunity to run their own operation much like that of a school's student council and will contain two adult advisors to assist the Kidz. The advisors are Kelly Gamble and Celeste Longbucco, both of Physicians Choice Home Health Care and Lisa Raco of Diabetic Life.

The Kidz will elect their president, vice president, secretary and treasurer as well as their editor and staff writers for the Kidz Section of the Diabetic Life of Las Vegas Magazine. In addition, the Kidz will develop other programs to educate people about diabetes from a Kidz point of view and design fundraiser's to promote their work and awareness.
