THE UNITED STATES is in a true health crisis. Just look around and you can see that we are sicker and more overweight than ever before. Even our children are now having weight related issues such as, type II diabetes and high blood pressure. We cannot continue to ignore these issues. In 2000, obesity and inactivity caused 400,000 deaths, more than 16% of all deaths. Also in this same year, 18.1% of all deaths were related to tobacco use. Obesity cost America $117 billion that year. These are statistics verified by the Surgeon General.

People are on a constant search for something that will help them address this weight issue. Many of these people will turn to a "fad diet" to help them lose this extra weight and feel better. Unfortunately, these fads are not the answer to long-term weight loss and health management. Many health experts believe that fad dieting places stress on your system, and with this repeated stress of gaining and losing the weight, it can be just as bad for your long-term health as being overweight.
Instead of just targeting weight loss, we should put our focus into achieving overall internal health. We should concentrate our efforts on cleansing out our impurities and refueling the system with well-balanced foods and nutrients. Overall general wellness involves a lifestyle change. Fueling the system, hydrating your body, and performing physical activity are vital to starting you down the proper road.
Some of the reasons that we also need to do a full-body cleanse along with eating right and exercising are
Our environment is no longer clean. Our air, our water, our foods, even our own homes are now regularly bombarded with impurities. Our foods are deficient and nutritionally bankrupt. Our meats are injected with hormones and antibiotics. Our fruits and vegetables are covered with pesticides and insecticides. Our water table tests positive for many chemicals, even asbestos and jet fuel show up in our water in Las Vegas. Our homes, cars, clothes, carpets are covered with flame retardant. Toxins and chemicals show up in everything from our carpets to our cosmetics.
So the questions are, why does this make me fat? Why does this make me feel sluggish and foggy? Why does this affect my sleep and my energy level? Our body's natural defensive mechanism is to enrobe the impurities in our systems inside of our fat cells. When we fad diet and shrink our fat cells, we are not addressing the issue of the contaminates in our system. These bad cells were being kept from us inside of our fat, so when the fat shrinks and the impurities are pushed out to roam freely in the body, our system, in defense, produces more fat to protect us. Thus begins the cycle of plateaus and yo-yo dieting. When a full-body nutritional cleanse is added into your new, healthy lifestyle, the impurities are dealt with first, the bad cells flush out through the urination process, then the fat cell that was protecting you from this impurity no longer has its job, and it also releases itself. Weight loss becomes a positive side effect of cleaning our bodies at the cellular level. Thus a continual cycle of cleansing can help in your long-term weight management and health goals. When the body is clean, and the cells are sparking properly, your body can actually begin to repair itself and function as nature intended.
With a simple maintenance program of regular cleansing and proper nutrition, weight can be maintained and health improved. Thin people also need to cleanse in this manner. The thinner someone is, the more the impurities attach to the bodies vital organs, so it becomes of great importance to remove the contaminates from the body. Every body type benefits from nutritional cleansing. Proper balance is the key to optimum health and you can achieve this for yourself.
