The design team at Red Rock Resort has truly hit the jackpot with their new restaurant concept Hachi. The executive chef Linda Rodriguez and her husband, Liverpool transplant Martin Swift, met while working at Nobu in London before making the move stateside together. In fact, Rodriguez was the first woman to train under acclaimed sushi master Nobu Matsuhisa.
Before heading out to the Big Apple where he will join the cast of the Broadway version of 'Hairspray', former N'Sync member Lance Bass hosted a going away party at his cushy Los Angeles digs. With the party all planned, something was missing so Bass called up local sweet tooth spot The Cupcakery and had 15 dozen cupcakes delivered to Los Angeles for the party.
Professional server Keith Breyer has arrived in Las Vegas after working as a captain at famed LA hotspot Dan Tana's, the Italian hotspot recognized around the world for their food, service and professional staff. The restaurant that gets this guy will really be advancing their staff.
The Las Vegas Hilton had a special weekend with Eye pal and rocker Steve Harwell taking over Barry Manilow's showroom for back-to-back performances with his hit band, Smash Mouth last Friday and Saturday. The room was rocking all weekend long as the band played hit after hit, even bringing audience members on stage for 'I am a Believer'. In the audience was rock legend Pat Thrall with wife Zoe Thrall, who happens to run The Studio at The Palms, and Hilton executive Ken Ciancimino.
Speaking of the Hilton, during a visit backstage we were wildly entertained checking out the pictures of Manilow and a wide array of fans, well-wishers and celebrity friends. Our favorite? Manilow with Motley Crue rocker Vince Neil of course!

Tabu Ultra Lounge operations manager Nicholas Quintanar also turned one year younger last week, he celebrated with a quiet afternoon and evening at Red Rock Resorts after dancing the night away at Tabu. The luckiest man on The Strip and longtime PURE Management Group host with the most, Lance Sherman, celebrated his birthday at Tangerine Nightclub on 7-7-07. Last but not least, BARE Pool Lounge marketing heiress Kalika Moquin celebrated her birthday Monday afternoon with an intimate affair at BARE.
