How To Attract A New Partner

WHAT WITH SUMMER half over and the longer days to attend a pool party on the Strip it seems a good time to write about attracting a new partner into your life. At the moment I am in my Seattle home looking out at the rain we have had all day (good thing I turned off the sprinklers). At this moment it is hard to believe it is well into the 100-degree mark in Vegas. As an Astrologer I often have clients ask who is the best match for them? I always contend that it is our Moon signs that connect when we become involved with someone. For example, water Moon with another water Moon, or a Fire Moon with another Fire Moon. Just grab an Astrology book at any bookstore to find your Moon sign. Our Moon sign is one of the emotional components in our natal charts.

From a Feng Shui perspective, the "love" corner or love Gua of the Bagua is the upper right corner from your front door to your home, apartment, or condo. No matter what room it is, if you are single, looking for a lover or partner, be sure that area is neat and tidy! If you have been following my column I hope you are getting the message about clutter. So, look around that part of your home and see what the "theme" is about. Are there any photos or paintings of couples? Do you have a bedroom there with only one bedside table? Do you have your drawers and closet so full there is no room for someone else to move in? (If you want that type of partnership). If it is your bedroom, is the bedding overly feminine and floral? Would a guy feel comfortable in your space? And if you were a guy, would your date feel you are clean and organized, or sloppy and disheveled? If it is your family room is there a single chair in the corner of that room? Does it appear to be welcoming for two people to comfortably sit and visit? Is it your kitchen with clutter everywhere and dirty dishes still in the sink, on the counter, wherever…? Be especially critical of your space if you are looking for a love connection.

Another Feng Shui approach is to set your intention on who you want to attract. Try writing down at least 5 traits or characteristics you are looking for in a partner. This should take much thought. Write down those thoughts on a piece of nice paper or index card and place it behind a photo of a couple or under a lamp in that corner. If you meet a special person who has potential, place their business card in that corner in a discreet place. (Be sure that person is single). I will continue to provide more tips in next month's column so stay tuned. I plan to be in Vegas September so if you want a consultation just email me at consym@comcast.net or check out my Web site at www.consymalasoma.com.

Meanwhile, stay cool, have a fun time and meet that special person!!!!
