How To Attract A New Partner [part two]

[read part one]

THIS IS A continuation of my last month's article about using Feng Shui to attract a partner or new love connection. Some of my suggestions may sound a bit strange but working with energy or chi' to improve our lives does work if you apply them. I will focus on the bedroom in this column because that is where we recharge our energy. For starters, when you are in your bed, it is best that you cannot view your bathroom, especially the toilet. Place a curtain over the door if necessary.

Try to use furnishings with rounded corners. Sharp corners create Sha Chi or "poison arrows." Watch out for the element of water in your bedroom. This includes small fountains or fish aquariums. Make sure you are NOT sleeping where a toilet or fireplace is on the other side of the wall.

Preferably remove computers and TVs from the bedroom, or at least place the TV in an armoire that can be closed at night. This relates to (EMF's) Electromagnetic Fields where you are sleeping. Try not to sleep directly under a ceiling fan or low beam. And do not sleep at the lower side of a sloping ceiling.

Red is the color for passion, especially if your love corner is your bedroom. Regardless of the Bagua section your bedroom is in, there should always be some pieces in red within your bedroom, such as throw pillows, pillow shams, or even a red accent wall. (My favorite paint color is called Fireweed.) I had a single client who took this advice from a book literally and made the entire room red, including her bedspread and pillows, the shades on her lights, the photo frames on her walls and the little hearts around her room. My initial reaction when I first walked in was of a Bordello! This much "passion" in her bedroom may create an affair, but not a lasting relationship. And that was exactly what was happening in her life. Once she understood toning things down a bit she finally met a wonderful partner.

Fresh flowers placed in your home activate Romance luck as long as the water is freshened on a daily basis. If the flowers die or dry out, throw them out immediately. These are tips that relate to your bedroom, your quality of rest in your bedroom, and the attraction of a partner into your bedroom.
