SOMETIMES IT MAKES an analyst wonder where the government and "talking heads" are getting their intelligence on Al Qaeda (Islamic Terrorists) from? The new or should I say standard buzz word is "Al Qaeda Franchises," oh that's two words, never mind, let's take a look at the standard definitions of "franchise" which are something like this:
Some of the major advantages: reduces risk of failure, turnkey operation, a standardized product/service.
Some of the major disadvantages: loss of control, binding contract, and the franchises problems are your problems.
So many "experts" use this term to whitewash the fact we, and all other non-Muslims, are the target of Islamic Jihadists hell-bent on setting up an Islamic Caliphate to rule the world according to sharia, or they have no idea what "franchise" or contemporary (Islamic) terrorism really means.
Let's take definition #1:
"
authorization to sell a company's goods
" The only goods Al Qaeda, through its media-production franchisee As Sahab (The Cloud), could be selling, would be the latest video by Zawahiri and the deceased Bin Laden, to Al Jazeera and the MSM (Main Stream Media).
Therefore Al Qaeda = Franchisor, As Sahab = Franchisee, Goods = film, Place = ? No particular place, and no goods sold so there cannot be a franchisor/franchisee relationship, yet if the experts could only figure out the Place and backtrack
Definition #2:
"
established or operated under an authorization
" Al Qaeda which was originally established by Abdulla Azzam, mentor to Bin Laden, as "The Abdullah Azzam Brigade" with the help of the U.S. and Saudi governments, mentors to Pakistan's ISI (Inter Services Intelligence) to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan, is not authorized by the founding Franchisors to sell goods and services any more.
Therefore Al Qaeda cannot be a franchisor/franchisee, and can be sued for Franchising without authorization, its services of death to numerous Franchisees such as the Abu Sayyaf group in the Philippines, the Gerakin Mujahaideen Islam Pattani in Thailand, Lashkar-e-Tayyiba in Pakistan etc, etc. Surely the non-government and government expert types are suing them?
Definition #3:
"
a franchise is a club given permanent rights to play in
" Without any authorization from the "Founders" Al Qaeda applied for membership to the most elite club in the world, "The Nuclear Club" thanks to a morphed ISI franchisee, "The A.Q. Khan Nuclear Black-Market" in Pakistan, where the Islamic Bomb gave True Muslims a warm fuzzy feeling. Now Iran and its mullahs are part of the club too and the colloquial term for each other is, Muslim brothers.
This concept is standard in the Muslim countries, but is foreign to government structures in most of the rest of the world. Of course Pakistan being a good member of the franchise club is going a wee bit further by offering fellow franchisees a method to deliver the Islamic BombThe cruise missile Babur (Hatf VII) with a range of 700kms. Here's a sales pitch marketing blurb "The Babur, which has near stealth capabilities, is a low flying, terrain-hugging missile with high maneuverability, pinpoint accuracy and radar avoidance features
"
And our government is considering selling high-tech weapons to Saudi Arabia and other Muslim Brother countries? Oh but they have called for a truce, reminds me of Huddabiya.
Major advantages of a Franchise:
Turnkey nuclear destruction of infidels in dar ul-harb, standardized reading of the Koran and its many passages calling for the destruction of non-Muslim, reduced risk of failure, unending supply of martyrs wanting to go to heaven for the seventy two virgins.
Major disadvantages:
Loss of controlShias attacking Sunnis, Sunnis attacking Shias. Shias and Sunnis attacking Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Communists etc, etc, no one can leave the club/franchise or they will be declared apostate, the punishment for which, according to sharia is death.
Now, are you still looking for an Al Qaeda Franchise? Maybe a Homegrown terrorist organization is more suitable for you experts who have no idea who the Enemy really is, and latch onto the latest buzz words to look smart.
Homegrown? That must be a franchise you can do from the safety of your homeoh, by the way, there's a bridge for sale in
