Two Years After Hurricane Katrina

Two full years have passed since the disastrous Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans & the Gulf Coast region. Unfortunately not much promised help has actually taken place.

It is sad when our government finds it more important to spend so much money,
now estimated at 3 billion dollars a week, for a unpopular and unjust war, while at the same time, leave thousands of our U.S. citizens homeless and displaced because of Katrina fiasco. The government has shown it's colors by the inept execution for the preparation of the upcoming storm, the evacuation that should have taken place, and didn't; and the aftermath assistance and clean-up that was DUE OUR CITIZENS, who have ended up just about abandoned by this government, with no real assistance in sight.

We live in what's known as the richest country in the world…and, if this is the case, how can what is in the following videos be true?

This week's "Featured column of the week" is "Kid" Cary's very poignant column reporting his visit to the Gulf Coast district, if you haven't read it, please do so HERE.
