Did someone say something? Am I hearing voices? What’s a “Tout” anyway? Does it swim upstream? Does it have something to do with that game with the hunky men in tight pants? (Sorry, that almost sounds tawdry and unladylike).

Bear with me while I re-Charger my prediction system - it’s a delicate thing you know, and one must always consider the “will of the team.” These are my top three picks for this up-coming week:

The Packers Defense was amazing last week so I'm going with The PACKERS over the Giants.

The Colts exceeded my expectations over the Saints last week so, I'm with The COLTS over The Titans

For some reason The Cowboys have roped me in, so I'm going with The COWBOYS over the Dolphins

	"The Tout's" PICKS

One has to hand it to Mystic Mona. She goes where many (wise guys) fear to tread! I mean how many football prognosticators of the opposite gender (from Mouth & I, that is) do you see out there in “Sports-land”.

Last week Mona went 8-8 SU, a boon to the players in the Station Casino’s contest, by the way. I’m betting (for entertainment purposes only!) she’ll get better with age… so to speak.

I went 10-6 SU and the Mouth went 2-1, having the attention span to only do three games....

For those of you that are counting.... I came in 11-4-1 ATS using my straight up picks, even though my top plays went 1-2.

For the remainder of the season, I'm going back to a "Star system". The challenge between Mystic Mona and the Mouth & I still stands, and remember the challenge is SU winners.

There may be some out there that might want to wager a few "bob" with their friendly book, but don't play with $$$ you can't afford to lose.

To use a Hold-em poker equivalence "I had her till the last card!" In Hold-em it's a seven card game and in football there's four quarters and over-time. Two of Mystic's wins were achieved after regulation and two wins were eeked out in the last minute of the fourth quarter. But hey, a win is a win is a win! This week if they start all games in the forth period, I may be in trouble....

One of my top plays last week, Oakland, played catch-up in the third period only to tank in the fourth with a costly fumble and interception.

Another, Philadelphia, lost late because a bone-head tried to field a punt in traffic, which lead to a game winning field goal by Green Bay.

My only top 3 winner was the Chargers who as a horse player would say "ran true to form." I promise to do better with the old "Star system"... still went 11-4 ATS in spite of the above.

What’s up with "The Tout" anyway? Whining about his bad luck, bragging about beating the spread when there was no spread involved, and just running on at the "mouth" in general. I mean this guy needs to get some professional (handicapping that is) help. That or go back to the ponies!!!

Jaguars/Falcons

This is what’s known as returning to the scene of the crime. I expect a less shameful effort from the Jags and will pick on the Falcons whose season will seem inordinately long as the Vick hangover turns into a migraine over time.

Da Bears/Chiefs

Yeah I know!!! Anyone could find this laugher; but...........on any given week in the NFL.........Just not THIS ONE, The Chiefs are truly awful and Da Bears while terribly overrated will win in spite of themselves.

Steelers/Bills

What a good friend and I used to call a box game. Suffice it to say that there is much for the Bills to overcome in addition to the fact that they're not as good, on the road, and in mourning.

Remember don't get caught with the wrong # if you happen to wager on any of the weekends festivities. Call Sonny or Gino at G&J and stop losing games by a 1/2 a point.
