America's Original
I met a gentleman recently by the name of Versatile, who is referred to as "the new architect of entertainment" who wants to spread love through his music. His new club "V" will open in the Fremont East District of downtown Las Vegas.
"No matter our differences, share the goals of prosperity, peace and your preference of music," states Versatile. "Music tells a story to which we all can relate."
Versatile, who attended the Fremont East lighting ceremony recently, said his club is "innovative" in that it is promoting an event, "America's Original" music competition. One lucky group or individual will win a recording deal. For more information visit www.Americas-Original.com.

The Five-Star Balboa Bay Club and Resort
It's no surprise that Las Vegans enjoy a quick getaway by taking their refuge in places like Laguna Beach, Newport Beach. Marina Del Rey and Malibu. One of the traditions in Newport Beach for resort living is the Balboa Bay Club and Resort. According to George Lysak, the executive director of sales and marketing for the resort, the historical resort has been catering to the elite since 1908. Today, however, the resort has a new contemporary design catering to club members, as well as the public. This four-diamond star resort is located on Pacific Coast Highway on the Bay of Newport Beach. It's no wonder that this was John Wayne's favorite place. Besides being on the board of governors, Wayne often enjoyed playing host to the employees on special occasion, such as Christmas.

I can certainly attest to the beauty of this resort, which has merged the many comforts of a luxury hotel with a warm and welcoming ambiance. The resort has spacious guest rooms, which are highlighted by beds that define luxury and comfort. I enjoyed the goose down feather pillows and comforters, which are provided in every room. The Balboa Bay Club and Resort also features a wonderful spa and fitness center, which is visited by tourists from around the world.
Should you decide to enjoy a getaway, you'll certainly want to enjoy the First Cabin restaurant, which serves some of the finest cuisine. The resort also has a ballroom and meetings rooms available for rental. Balboa Bay Club and Resort is rated five stars by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences.
Christopher Broughton Tapes New TV Show at The Venetian

Christopher Broughton, one of the more talented magicians of our time, has a new weekly TV show scheduled. It is being taped for broadcast from the Venetian showroom starting in mid-October. It is called "The Christopher Broughton Show," which is a late-night talk and variety show "where Hollywood meets the Strip."
Some of the scheduled guests include Don King, Dolly Parton and Gino Vanelli. MTV regards the show as a sort of Dave Chappelle meets Jay Leno show on steroids. Tickets for the show are $30 and doors open at 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. For more info visit www.thecbshow.com.
