Kobe goes big at Blush


A high standard was set at Blush over the weekend as a bottle buy-off took place between Kobe Bryant and Poker Player Antonio “the Magician” Esfandiari. Antonio bought 2 bottles of Cristal. Not to be out done, Kobe bought 5. Antonio bought 7, then 10. Kobe then bought 15 bottles and left! What a way to make an exit! Also making apperances that evning were Steve and Elaine Wynn, Pamela Anderson, Baron Davis, Marcus Allen, Dwayne Wade, rapper Timbaland, and actor Rick Solomon. Keeping the glam-life going at Blush, it has been confirmed that Chris Noth will host the Bombay Sapphire Blue Carpet Event there on Saturday, September 8th. The Eye raises a toast to Blush for a job welldone. Good luck!

Bebe @Palms

Last Wednesday, Bebe owners Manny and Karim Mashouf hosted their first ever party at the Palms with Macy Gray aka "Nemesis Jackson" spinning to a sold out crowd inside of MOON Nightclub. Karim was also generous enough to hand out a $5,000 gift card to one lucky lady in attendance. Resident DJ's "P" and "Mark Stylez" also kept the party going until the early morning hours. On Saturday night, Kid Rock kept the party going up at MOON after his sold out Labor Day Kickoff show at the Pearl. Kid and company rolled into the club about 30 deep and took over the main party booth just off the dance floor. After the bottles starting flying Kid Rock took over the reigns of the DJ Booth and played to the crowd for over an hour. Included in Kid's group was Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath. Tuesday night, at 9 Steakhouse and Playboy Club, X Games Gold Medal and snowboarding/skateboarding icon "The Flying Tomato," Shaun White was out celebrating his 21st birthday. White was joined by Tony Hawk and many of their closest friends for an evening filled with fine food, high end wine and champagne and a nightcap turned party central at the Playboy Club.

Labor Day Weekend brings flocks of tourists and celebrities to Sin City each year and on Friday night Tangerine kicked off the holiday weekend with a visit from legendary disk jockey Grand Master Flash. Meanwhile, fashion model Jennifer LaRegina tested her bowling skills at Lucky Strike Lanes before heading to Las Vegas' wildest watering hole, Coyote Ugly where she danced on the bar tops with the sexy Coyotes. Earlier in the day, swimsuit model and Playboy Playmate Raquel Gibson soaked in some rays and touched up her tan at Venus Pool Club. Social House marked the starting point for a celebrity and fun filled night on The Strip Monday night as stars flocked to the famed eatery. Before settling into the Newspaper Room, Paris Hilton held a private cocktail party in the Social House lounge to unveil her new Denim and Sportswear line. Dining in the lounge a bit later on was actress Brittany Daniel who enjoyed the hip sounds of DJ Javier Alba on the turntables. Also stopping into Social House together to check out the vibe were recording artists Travis Barker and Jermaine Dupree. After delighting their appetites, both Hilton and Daniel headed to PURE Nightclub where actor Wilmer Valderrama and Chester Bennington of Linkin Park were entertaining the masses. Hilton hung out with "Beacher's Madhouse" front man Jeff Beacher, danced with a couple gal pals, and mingled with admirers for the majority of the night. Also spotted at last night's PURE soiree was UFC veteran Frank Trigg, Olympic Gold medalist Maurice Green, as well as Ami and Chris Nunez of Miami Ink. Tangerine was steaming Wednesday night as model Caroline D'Amore and socialite Kim Kardashian stopped by to celebrate the launch of Caroline's new fashion line, D'Amore by Marceau. After dining upstairs at Social House, the gorgeous ladies partied in VIP with a large group of friends where they danced all night to the sounds of DJ Samantha Ronson. Also spotted partying was knockout WWE Diva Torrie Wilson with friends and Making the Band 4 stars Albert Moyer, Robert Curry and Danny Klang. Just off The Strip at Lucky Strike Lanes, MMA star Frank Trigg hosted a party for his clothing line, Triggonomics.

A new era of nightlife was ushered in on Friday evening as Britney Spears hosted the star studded opening of LAX Nightclub Las Vegas inside Luxor. With thousands of club-goers in attendance and a throng of celebrities throughout the venue, LAX made the light at Luxor shine even brighter. With famed DJ AM on the turntables, Spears entered the club to a roaring ovation and nonstop flashbulbs as her new single Gimmie More blared over the sound system. Once situated at her table on LAX's main VIP stage and after giving Criss Angel a hug, Spears partied with girlfriends before ascending atop the DJ booth where she addressed the crowd and welcomed everyone to LAX. Partying on the VIP stage within arms reach of Spears were Nicky Hilton and boyfriend David Katzenberg who were joined by a handful of friends. Also seated on the stage was rock icon Dave Navarro with friends and Wilmer Valderrama who took to his typical Vegas nightclub fashion while being generous and sharing with lucky club goers while hanging out with Shawn and Damien Wayans. Just next to Valderrama were The Hills cast members Brody Jenner and Frankie Delgado as well as actor Josh Henderson. Also taking in LAX's grand opening were actor John O'Hurley, boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., Shar Jackson, Cassandra Hepburn, NBA players Drew Gooden, Cuttino Mobley, Al Harrington and Dahntay Jones and comedian Carrot Top. LAX Nightclub's grand opening weekend continued with a Saturday night with another packed house on hand. LAX resident DJ Vice took to the turntables and delivered a knockout performance that had club-goers and celebrities grooving all night. The main VIP stage was filled with a heap of celebrities including Nicky Hilton, David Katzenberg and a group of friends including Jeff Beacher and birthday girl Jessica Meisels. Seated at the booth next to Hilton was a large party that included Stavros Niarchos and Simon Rex while Wilmer Valderrama held court on the end of the stage. Seated at a VIP table on the dance floor, actor Nick Cannon hung out with several friends while across the way Oscar award winning rap group Three 6 Mafia held down another VIP table. LAX rounded out the night by welcoming direct from New York City, DJ Boris who poured out house music and had patrons dancing in a frenzy until closing. Also making LAX their spot on Labor Day Weekend were turntable legend Grandmaster Flash, actors Jeremy Jackson and Damien Wayans, Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, and New York Knicks forward David Lee. Randy Couture celebrated his latest victory over Gabriel Gonzaga at Tangerine. Joining Couture's after-fight festivities was former Dallas Cowboy and NFL Hall-of-Famer Michael Irvin. Later, UFC mega-star Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell, hosted an after-fight party at PURE Nightclub. Liddell's fellow UFC fighters Frank "Twinkle Toes" Trigg, Renato Sobral and Frank Mir made appearances as well as NBA pros Richard Hamilton of the Detroit Pistons and Jared Jeffries of the NY Knicks.

After hosting a weekend of unrivaled parties, LAX Nightclub inside the Luxor continued to bring out not only the masses, but also a slew of celebrities to commemorate the end to a successful opening weekend on Saturday night. Partying at The Strip's newest party spot for the third night in a row was The Hills cast members Brody Jenner, Frankie Delgado, and socialite Stavros Niarchos. Seated at a table close by, model/designer Nicky Hilton who made her third appearance of the weekend as she enjoyed the view from her VIP table on the stage with friends. Also spotted at LAX over the weekend were Chris Alvarez and Josh Balster of Right Gin, with Jeremy Jackson of Baywatch nearby.

PURE Nightclub was the place to be last Tuesday night as socialite and entrepreneur extraordinaire Nicky Hilton exposed fresh gear from Chick, her sassy line of stylish attire. Paris Hilton was on board to support her sister throughout the night as the world famous DJ AM worked his magic on the turntables. Also stopping in after hosting a night at PURE Nightclub over the weekend, actress and model Jenny McCarthy took to the plush red VIP couches with her friends while dancing to the sounds of DJ Steve Aoki. Meanwhile, Wild n' Out star Nick Cannon quickly became the pseudo emcee of the night as he took over the mic and kept the party pumped up while Aoki turned up the heat on the turn tables. Later in the evening, as DJ Eli Escobar played an amazing set for the packed house, rappers Too Short and Red Man took over the largest VIP loft LAX has to offer with a group of friends.

Last Tuesday night, TAO Las Vegas saw the venue continuing to celebrate the Project and MAGIC conventions in Las Vegas with the Signature Apparel party at TAO Beach, the Hudson Jeans, Creative Recreation party in the Nightclub and the Five Four clothing party in the Lounge. The Signature Apparel party was in honor of Rapper Eve’s Lingerie line launch for Fetish and was attended by Eve, Jay-Z and Ciara. Up in the nightclub, basketball star Lebron James partied to the sounds of DJ Irie and Vice. Meanwhile, LL Cool J dined in the TAO Asian Bistro with his family. Friday night, several stars made appearances on the kickoff of Labor Day Weekend such as NBA stars Dwayne Wade and Lebron James. Wilmer Valderramma also showed up with a group of friends, while Rapper Sean Paul partied in an upper level skybox to view the lovely ladies. The legendary Grandmaster Flash was also seen in the club that night. TAO Beach was at capacity crowd on Sunday as DJ Paul Oakenfold kept the party going which led guest into TAO Nightclub to enjoy the beats of Erick Morillo. On Monday night, actor Paul Rudd was spotted dining at the TAO Asian Bistro with a friend while enjoying the ambiance and decor of TAO as they celebrated Labor Day.

In an announcement made last week, The Light Group revealed plans that it would close its flagship club Light for renovations to make way for a new concept called The Bank. In marking the end of the era, the club threw a "Light’s Out" party on Wednesday night for all of its patrons, former employees and loyal celebrity following – Kim Kardashian was no exception as she stopped by to wish the club farewell while enjoying a brief cocktail with friends. Also making an appearance with his omnipresent entourage was rapper Young Jeezy. Then, on Friday night, Shar Jackson celebrated her birthday at Light Nightclub while dancing on the club's infamous dancer poles. Down the street at Jet Nightclub, VMA music director Timbaland was spotted scouting the club's VIP sections as it is rumored that he will be hosting his official award show after party at one of the club's stage tables. On Saturday night Jet Nightclub was where the party was at as Justin Timberlake proved that he still has all the magic. After his concert at Mandalay Bay, JT brought sexy back to Jet Nightclub for his second concert after-party this year. The 7 time VMA nominee, along with VMA Maestro Timbaland, gave lucky club-goers an impromptu concert that could easily go down as the hottest JT concert in history and also a sneak peak at what could be in store for next Sunday as Timbaland hosts his official award show after party at Jet Nightclub after the VMAs. Performing an hour long montage of the two music icon's hottest hits along with other hot tracks, JT and Timbaland took the club's DJ booth by storm and rocked a packed house. Earlier that evening, funny man David Spade and funny woman Sarah Silverman were spotted dining separately at Stack Restaurant & Bar. On Sunday night, Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore known for their whirlwind Vegas trips were spotted with new pal Justin Long at Light Nightclub to experience one last hurrah before the club shut its doors. The trio then left Light and headed over to Jet Nightclub to watch world-famous DJ Tiesto spin to a packed house. Long was also previously spotted at Caramel Bar & Lounge at Bellagio on Saturday evening and Bare Pool Lounge on Sunday.
