Saturday night’s Sin City party scene got off to a scorching hot start as some of today’s most buzzed about celebrities headed to PURE Nightclub. Even though the sun had set long before, temperatures soared inside the club as Holly Huddleston and Molly Shea, best known as the “Olly Girls” from the hit series Sunset Tan on E!, popped in to host the night’s festivities. During a visit to the DJ booth the girls tested their skills on the turntables with the help of DJ Hollywood. Not long after the blonde bombshells got the party underway, another superstar duo joined the party. Making a grand entrance just before midnight were Paris and Nicky Hilton.
Greeting the “Olly Girls” upon arrival, the Hiltons quickly made themselves at home at their table next to the DJ booth where the Las Vegas Pussycat Dolls presented Nicky with a gorgeous birthday cake. Nicky shined in the spotlight as her boyfriend David Katzenberg, Paris, the “Olly Girls” and a packed house of partiers joined the Dolls in singing her happy birthday. The Hiltons toasted to the night with their group of friends, danced to the mega-mix spun by DJ Hollywood and mingled with the “Olly Girls” before they all proceeded to LAX Nightclub. Also hitting up PURE Saturday night were members of the hip-hop group The Shop Boyz, who rolled in after midnight to check out the sizzling scene. Member Richard “Phat” Stevens jumped on the mic and introduced the group’s smash hit “Party Like a Rock Star” as it blared through the speakers, asking the crowd if they themselves were rock stars and provoking a loud response from the excited club-goers. Local Las Vegas nightlife guru and E! Correspondent Michael Politz was also spotted at the hip party. Down The Strip at PURE’s sister club, LAX Nightclub, Lauren “Lo” Bosworth celebrated her birthday with her best friend and fellow cast member of MTV’s popular reality show The Hills, Lauren Conrad. Also making his way to the Saturday night soiree at LAX Nightclub was Mindfreak Criss Angel, who kicked back on the main stage with his cocktail of choice, Montecristo Rum and Coke.
Before the night’s festivities took off at the two mega-clubs, Social House was the place to be to spot many of these celebrities gearing up for a night of fun as they dined on deliciously prepared dishes. Also, The Sunset Tan stars hosted Sunday night’s Moonshine party at Tangerine.
On Saturday night, Rob Dyrdek was spotted at the Playboy Club with friends. Up at MOON, comedian Joe Rogan, fresh off his two sold out shows at the Palms Lounge partied with fellow comedian Joey Diaz.
Friday night, TAO Las Vegas saw pop superstar Kelly Clarkson returning for some of her favorites at the Tao Asian Bistro while in Sin City. Kelly and some friends drank tea and ordered assorted sushi and kobe sashimi while
commenting that she “just loves dining here, and will be back again!” On Saturday night, “Dancing with the Stars” couple Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff celebrated Mario’s birthday. After dinner the couple headed to the XBox Oasis at Tao Beach where they enjoyed the birthday cake with sparklers. Mario and Karina then headed up to the nightclub, where they danced on TAO’s catwalk for the crowd before they called it a night. Also spotted was Floyd Mayweather Jr., Karina’s dance partner on the current season of “Dancing with the Stars,” who shared the spotlight with Mario and danced a little bit together. Pam Anderson and Rick Salomon had a late dinner at Stack Restaurant & Bar on Sunday night. Also, celebrating her birthday at Jet Nightclub, Grammy Award winning songstress Mya rang in her 29th birthday with a surprise filled bash. Singing a mix of some of her old school classics and new songs, Mya rocked the house and sang “Happy Birthday” to everyone celebrating a birthday in the club before being surprised with a double-tiered cake of her own.
