THE FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS Division (FID) of the Nevada Department of Business & Industry today [October 17, 2007] announced that it has issued a Cease and Desist Order against OneCap, OneCap Properties, OneCap Mortgage, OneCap Partners LLC, et al to cease and desist from any and all activities which are covered under Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) Chapter 675. The Order cites violations of NRS 675.060, resulting in total fines of $130,000. The FID Commissioner has scheduled a hearing in the matter of these unlicensed activities for Wednesday, November 14, 2007. The Order is available on the FID’s Web site at
