Whether it is family, friends, the two of you or big group of people getting together to celebrate Thanksgiving, there are certainly a number of places you can go to eat for a memorable Thanksgiving meal without all of the effort of cooking and cleaning up afterwards.
If you live in
Summerlin or the northwest, Ceres Restaurant at JW Marriott in Summerlin offers
a number of choices on Thanksgiving Day. This year’s annual Thanksgiving brunch
buffet features traditional Turkey, Peppercorn Crusted Prime Rib of Beef and
Maple Pit Ham at the carving station and an omelet station with made-to-order
eggs. The main buffet offers an assortment of salads, fruits, baked goods and
pastries, imported and domestic cheeses and a vast array of accompanying hot
items, not to mention delicious desserts. There is a children’s buffet, filled
with kid-friendly foods such as Crunchy Chicken Fingers, assorted Pizzas,
Mac-n-Cheese, French Fries and Mini Pancakes.
Brunch is served from 10:30 am to 3 pm Thanksgiving Day at a cost of $42 for
adults,
$18.50 for children under 12 and complimentary for children under 5 years old.

In addition to the holiday brunch buffet, a Thanksgiving menu selection will be served in Ceres during the evening hours. It’s a “build your own holiday dinner” menu with choices in starters, main course selections, along with desserts. Santos. He has prepared a Thanksgiving Menu including Roasted Root Vegetable

Chile Dressing and Field Watercress, Young Turkey Breast and Poblano Spinach
Mousse, Stuffed Leg Roasted in Oaxacan Red Mole, Grilled Green Beans, with a

If you are in the mood for Italian for Thanksgiving, Fiamma at the MGM Grand with Executive Chef Carlos Buscaglia is offering Roasted Butternut Squash ‘Crema’ Crisp Sage Chanterelles Mushrooms, Parmegiano risotto, turkey confit, grilled Portobello mushrooms with Roasted Free Range Turkey, macerated Brandy Cranberries, mascarpone soft polenta, and Marcona Almond stuffing. Tom Colicchio of Craftsteak at the MGM Grand is a James Beard award-winning chef
and is emphatic when it comes to creating menu items that appeal to all lovers
of fine food. For Thanksgiving, Craftsteak is offering for starters, Roasted
Pumpkin Soup with Black Trumpets, White Truffle and Chive; Baby Mixed Lettuces
with Shallot Vinaigrette and Sautéed Nantucket Bay Scallops with Celery Root,
Smoked Pancetta and Celery Leaves. For the entrée, it is a Roasted and Braised
Free Range Turkey with Sausage Stuffing, Natural Jus, Gravy, Cranberry Relish,

One of the newest restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip at Planet Hollywood, Strip House, is offering an innovative menu this holiday season. Chef John Schenk has created three fall favorites. For starters, wild mushroom bisque with crisp pancetta, sage and black truffle butter will be offered. Chef Schenk’s take on roast fresh turkey comes with chestnut bread stuffing, butternut squash puree, kale and collard greens and balsamic-cranberry sauce with confit giblet gravy. Strip House will also feature a pumpkin pie with Tahitian vanilla ice cream for dessert.

baby squash; or baked Atlantic cod topped with crab meat stuffing and brandy

starts with a full salad bar. Carving stations will feature prime rib and roast

broiled flank steak with Port wine sauce, Southern style fried chicken, baked
