Lifestyles 0f Las Vegas Seniors

Relocated seniors usually decide on their type of residence in Las Vegas with two things in mind. First, they want to be around people their own age for a common bond. Second, are the recreational facilities meeting their needs. Most 55 and over apartment developments, senior private home areas and senior mobile home parks all have two things in common, swimming pool facilities, a recreation building where the residents can meet, play cards, shoot pool, form and conduct activities of their choice. Generally these establishments have a person on duty to help organize celebrations, parties, BBQ’s, tours, golf outings, visits to local hotels for gambling and much more.

For seniors that live in areas that don’t have the above mentioned facilities and even for those that do, Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Clark County and private agencies have established almost 30 senior centers.
