Don't Cry for Me Las Vegas

I've been in major debt

Due to a game called roulette

Oh how I do regret

Each and every bet

Got me so upset

So I said just perhaps

I'll try my luck at craps

For me they played taps

My luck took a lapse

Tried another plan of attack

Off I went to play black jack

Even for that I had no knack

Well folks, I ain't no joker

When I tell ya I just 'ain't' medicore

When it comes to poker

Stuck it out next to the cigar smoker

Got my stuff back from the pawn broker.

Poker became my game

My claim to fame

Losing streak, I overcame

The tournaments were my aim

But quickly it burned out, my flame

And again I hung my head in shame.

Lastly I gave games another shot

And put 4 quarters in a slot

Being so obsessive

I became quite aggressive

Only played the Progressive

First half hour was unimpressive

Then the machine made a little purr

I knew something was about to occur

Everything became a blur

Bells rang, lights flashed

I thought the machine had crashed

Over to me people dashed

I felt so abashed

I began to blush

When they confirmed my royal flush.

Never could've foreseen

My luck on the progressive machine

The winnings were obscene

I'm now living like a queen
