I’m not even
going to talk about it… mostly because I predict that the Tout will.
Tout LOVES to talk about the numbers (Bless his heart). (BTW, in the
South, you can say anything about anyone as long as you follow it
with “Bless his/her heart”)
I will say that I
am embarrassed that ALL of my three picks last week failed me.
However, I’m still a-loving MY Brett and all his skills with The
Packers. I do also predict that the Patriots will loose this week –
even though I do agree with the ever-handsome Casey that they will
make it to the big game.
Whole new system
for the football picks this week. When I find the one that works,
you’ll all know (…and so will AP News, David Letterman, Jay Leno,
and Conan O’Brien).

Stop the presses! I can't take my beloved
49ers, they suck. My only hope is picking
against them and having them win to spite
me. That's OK guys, feel free.
Those 'Boys are rollin', but I think they'll
falter before the end and give Greenbay a
chance to sneak back into home field
contention. I doubt if it will happen this
week, though.
The Donkeys should beat the Chefs, but who
really cares unless the Colts get beat too.
The Colts should be OK, but they're due for
their usual mid season stupids too. The
Giants become the Gnats this week and lose
to a pumped up Eagles team that probably
should have enjoyed their own Boston tea
party.
Sounds like the Steelers are going to give
the Pats a game. This could be the week New
England gets beat, but I doubt it. If it
happens, it will be the heretofore winless
Dolphins who will keep their 1972 contingent
appeased. |

Disaster struck this past week, both SU vs. Mystic and Casey
and ATS with my Star picks. I went an embarrassing 5-10 SU,
Mystic came in a little better at 7-8 and Casey a
respectable 9-6. Oh, and let us not forget, the easy to
forget, Mouth, who limped in at 1-2…
Like
Brett Farve’s elbow, my pride is bruised but I know that
both his elbow and my pride, will mend soon. In the case of
the latter, by next week……
Hoping to
improve my 1-5 debacle last Sunday with the below After my
top pick won big on Sunday, I thought I was on my way……….. but
not to be……………

Redskins/Bears Darn I keep doing that.......guess I just
can't help myself.
Guess there
really is no such thing as a free lunch, except where the Lions are
concerned. This is an extremely difficult card to come up with
winners that aren't monster favorites but , undaunted I shall forge
on.
Texans/Bucs
I'm going w/Rosenfels over Garcia in this one. After all its
Chanukkah not Cinco de Mayo. Seriously though, give Texans the edge
here as Bucs have division virtually locked up and figure to take a
breather while they rest some of their wounded. If Schaub were
healthy you could really take the rubber band off.
Titans/Chargers I'm going with the overachievers with a mobile
Vince Young at the QB vs. the underachieving overrated Chargers with
the gutless Phillip Rivers running the show and Norv (the loser)
Turner on the sidelines. Jeff Fisher will have the Titans up big
time for this "must" win home game.
Browns/Jets
I know they're at home but I'm just not sure the Jets and Kellen
(what kind of a name is that anyway for a football player?) Clemens
can win two in a row without scheduling the Dolphins back to back.
