Hoop Time

The five teams I selected to show a positive ROI thru the month of December did not fare well again this past week………… The five led by the Butler Bulldogs (which did not cover in their two games, a win over Detroit and a road loss to Wright St.) are still 31-11 SU and 18-12 ATS 56%

Butler was without their starting center Pete Campbell for the two games mentioned above. He was replaced by Freshman Matt Howard. Although Howard performed above expectations, it’s difficult for a team to begin league play with a freshman center………….

I will review Butler, Virginia, St. Louis, New Mexico and The Akron Zips (I believe I referred to them as the Ants in previous columns………….

At the end of the month and consider coming up with some new or additional teams for January that should show a positive ROI.

The schedule for the week (Friday December 14 - Thursday December 20) for the 5 is;

Butler  vs. Florida St   Wednesday vs. Bradley

Virginia Wednesday vs. Hampton

St Louis Saturday  vs. Southern Illinois   Wednesday vs. Loyola Chi.

New Mexico  Saturday vs. Texas Tech   Wednesday vs. New Mexico State

Akron Saturday at Ausin Peay   Wednesday vs. North Carolina A&T

May our five teams be “the Fab Five”
