Sugar

and
TheVegasEyes'

Michael Politz
aid
VH1
in counting down the
100 Greatest Songs of the '90s.
It's all the Clinton-era hits you know and maybe
even love, from the artists who defined
Generation X.
This
five-part cavalcade of block-rockin' beats
isn't just a countdown -- we'll also reveal the
story behind each tune and bring you up to date
on what the decade's greatest stars are doing
today. Huge names like Nirvana, U2, Alanis
Morissette, The Spice Girls, Red Hot Chili
Peppers, Puff Daddy, MC Hammer, Oasis,
Radiohead, and En Vogue will be featured and
flanked by those guilty pleasures that haven't
left your head yet. (Because hey -- if it makes
you happy, it can't be that bad.)
So slap on that flannel,
make sure your fade's lookin' fly, and be sure
to catch
VH1's 100
Greatest Songs of the '90s,
airing a new episode each day this week.

A
Joyful Noise!
STOMP OUTLOUD
Being originally from New York and a creative
person I enjoyed immersing myself in the
performing arts culture of the city I grew up
in, especially the spectacular Broadway and off
Broadway productions. However after relocating
to Vegas, I felt a since of loss having left
behind that which I truly enjoyed. Alas!, my
dear readers I am happy to report, Vegas has
become home to that same cultural experience NYC
boast of. Tuesday night the
VegasEye
was part of a movement of sight and sound that
was truly on par with those Broadway
productions. Playing at the new and beautifully
decor
Planet Hollywood Hotel Resort &
Casino in Las Vegas,
TheVegasEye
enjoyed,
STOMP OUT LOUD the sister
production to the long-running hit STOMP playing
at the Orpheum Theater in New York City,
bringing the same rhysmatic experience right
here to the Strip. The cast of characters is as
different as the variety of objects used to
produce the unique acoustical sound. Replacing
traditional musical instruments this production
of percussions demonstrate what can be termed as
using common object and synchronized rhythm to
produce a symphony of extraordinary sound. Who
knew, that throwing sets of keys up in the airs
and catching them would produce the sound of
sleigh bells, or sliding a cardboard box across
sand is the equivalent of maracas, without
giving away to much, it is certainly a
magnificent sound and visual treat for the ears
and
Eyes.
So go over to
PH
check out
STOMP OUT LOUD
and experience for yourself this truly
Joyful Noise!
The Strips lights are shining as brightly as
Broadways. Now if only we can get a production
of the
Lion King
here,
Hmmm.

PURE

spiced up the lives of many lucky club-goers
Tuesday night as

joined by her husband, film producer
Stephen
Belafonte, and nearly 30 friends
and dancers from the group’s world tour. Also at
PURE celebrating a very special birthday was

Pam
Can't leave the beach
Pam
Anderson
told her fans on her website today,"I've
decided against taking a HUGE offer to do a big
production
in Vegas -I've officially passed. Sounded like
fun for a minute- very complicated with all the
things hotel was offering-- but after being
home- it's impossible for me to leave- and going
back and forth was already difficult 2x week
with Han's show for 6 months- - this would take
up much more of my time- as much as kids love
Vegas. I think we're done.
I'll do a
few stage appearances soon/Europe- Wild
surprises / legendary stages-to fulfill the
exhibitionist in me-that deal is done- but
committing to
years in Vegas-8-10 shows a week is not going to
work for my family-
I've never made decisions based on money- and
I'd hate to start now- I'm going to work on my
dream now- and stay Home--!!!
