A
Refreshing Musical Attraction to Las Vegas
‘Las
Vegas Tenors’ are four very talented singers who currently have
successful careers outside the group. Individually, they are
Bill Fayne, Teddy Davey, Mark Giovi and
Bobby Black.
The
definition of a tenor singer described by Webster states, “a
male voice between baritone and alto, ranging approximately from
one octave below middle C to one octave above it.” There are
two categories of a tenor, first tenor and second tenor; second
tenor having a lower voice range.
The Las
Vegas Tenors began in 2005 when Bill Fayne was asked to put
together a group of singers to perform a concert of eclectic
music from various genres. Bill, a classically trained singer,
loves Opera and Broadway. Bobby and Mark are more contemporary
singers who are comfortable singing Bon Jovi, Garth Brooks, R &
B, as well as the classics. Teddy Davey has experience in
theater, pop and classical Italian songs. It seemed like a good
idea, but no one could have predicted the incredible response to
their shows.
