Las Vegas Tenors

A Refreshing Musical Attraction to Las Vegas

‘Las Vegas Tenors’ are four very talented singers who currently have successful careers outside the group.  Individually, they are Bill Fayne, Teddy Davey, Mark Giovi and Bobby Black.

The definition of a tenor singer described by Webster states, “a male voice between baritone and alto, ranging approximately from one octave below middle C to one octave above it.”  There are two categories of a tenor, first tenor and second tenor; second tenor having a lower voice range.

The Las Vegas Tenors began in 2005 when Bill Fayne was asked to put together a group of singers to perform a concert of eclectic music from various genres. Bill, a classically trained singer, loves Opera and Broadway.  Bobby and Mark are more contemporary singers who are comfortable singing Bon Jovi, Garth Brooks, R & B, as well as the classics.  Teddy Davey has experience in theater, pop and classical Italian songs. It seemed like a good idea, but no one could have predicted the incredible response to their shows.

Individually:

Bill Fayne, has achieved Las Vegas notoriety during his almost eight year run here in Las Vegas as musical conductor, arranger, singer and performer with Las Vegas headliner Clint Holmes  His musical association with Clint Holmes spans 24 years. Bill has been musical director of more than 50 musical theater productions, operas, and television shows over the past 30 years. He has appeared as a guest conductor with the Atlanta, Columbus, Delaware, and even his hometown, Buffalo's symphony orchestras. Bobby Black, an internationally acclaimed vocalist, makes his way around the world sharing his talents and charm to millions. From his humble, small hometown of Donalsonville, Georgia to the mighty outback of Australia and across 4 continents, Bobby Black celebrates a lifetime of passion and pride with his one true love, music.

In April 2000, Bobby was hired to be the lead pop soloist for the grand theatrical productions onboard the Celebrity Cruises, GTS Millennium. The Millennium was the first ship to brag of such a state-of-the-art theatrical facility; 1000 seat auditorium with three tiered seating, Broadway scale fly space, multiple hydraulic lift stages and a cast of some of the world’s greatest singers and dancers showcased Bobby Black as a star.

Bobby was so successful at the production shows, that the cruise line asked him to perform his own one-man show where he received standing ovations every night and extremely high passenger ratings.  Now his one-man show can be seen all over the world on a variety of ships including Celebrity Cruises and Holland America. Bobby chose Las Vegas to be his home.
