What is a Mother

Age 11

A mother is someone who means more to you,

then an ice cream of chocolate cake

She’s the prettiest lady you’ll ever see,

and the kindest and loyalist too.

In trouble a mother is good to lean on

or ask to give advice,

she’s the most helpful lady in all the world

And you’ll love her the rest of your life.

A mother is there when ever you need her

To love and be true and always believe you,

I love you mother as much as I can,

And our friendship will never end

in good or in bad.

On December 16, 2007, one day before my mother's 93rd birthday she passed away peacefully.

At age 11, I wrote my mother this poem. I would like to thank you for letting me share it with you.
