What is a Mother |
| |
By Marleen Marino |

Age 11 |
| |
| |
A mother is someone who means more
to you, |
| |
then an ice cream of chocolate cake |
| |
She’s the prettiest lady you’ll ever
see, |
| |
and the kindest and loyalist too. |
| |
| |
In trouble a mother is good to lean
on |
| |
or ask to give advice, |
| |
she’s the most helpful lady in all
the world |
| |
And you’ll love her the rest of your
life. |
| |
| |
A mother is there when ever you need
her |
| |
To love and be true and always
believe you, |
| |
I love you mother as much as I can, |
| |
| |
And our friendship will never end |
| |
in good or in bad. |

On December 16, 2007,
one day before my mother's 93rd birthday she passed away peacefully.
At age 11, I wrote my mother this poem. I would like to thank you for letting
me share it with you.
