Final Table All Set for WPT Ladies Championship

Vanessa Selbst Goes in as Chip Leader

The Bellagio was host to the inaugural World Poker Tour Ladies Championship. Over two days, 150 players battled it down to the final six women who will be featured in the televised final table.

With a significant chip lead for most of the tournament, Vanessa Selbst will start the day With $182,200 in chips. Not too far behind her is Nancy Todd Tyner with $107,400 in chips.

Karina Jett, well known poker pro bubbled out when her pocket queens didn't hold up to Vanessa's Ace Jack when the board came King, Ten, Three... the turn, blank...  the river the dreaded Queen giving Vanessa the straight and clinching the final table for the remaining five players.

Selbst won her way to the WPT Ladies Championship at the WPT Ladies tournament at Commerce Casino. She has played a good game so far yet doesn't think it's going to be easy to ge through the remaining players.

On April 25th, these women will play their final table on the WPT stage. It will be taped for future television broadcast.
