Poor Norm Clark (Las Vegas Confidential) got a taste of what irate boyfriends do when their girl does not win. Illusionist Criss Angel and his posse caused quite a dust-up when his girlfriend Veronica Grabowski did not win the title for "Miss USA pageant. I have written many articles on this subject and have also been interviewed on top TV shows. When I was on Playboy's payroll or Cosmopolitan's payroll, I would be invited to judge one thousand contests which I did until I had complete burn-out.

It can be a very dangerous job! At a contest at the Palladium in L.A., after the contest I went to my car and a young man threw me over the hood of my car and tried to strangle me, the parking lot attendant saved me. But one of the worst of my being terrorized when after judging a contest with Jaclyn Smith and Jack Kogan (big stars at the time), when I went to my car, a fellow followed me and started peeing on me while I was trying to get into my car. But if had it to do all over again, I would do it again because I did get to go all over the world (as the expert on judging beauty and brains).

When I was a close friend of David Cohen (of the famous Brofman family of Canada and Hollywood) he would invite me to all of the culture events he attended and contributed to. Then he moved back to Hollywood and became involved in producing movies. In the meantime, he got married and divorced. Several people have inquired if I know where he is now in Las Vegas. But I do not know anymore. But I am sure, he will be seen soon at all the cultural events again as he is a very generous and supportive to his love of music and classical talent.
