the popular courting concept, speed networking is
revolutionizing traditional business building as we know it…
Its old
fashion business networking with a twist has now come to the
Social Register of Las Vegas. We’ve grown the Social Register to
over 2,300 members in less than a decade which is a “Social”
organization here in town. However, we hear of such great
networking stories in within our social functions, we thought we
could really help maximize our member’s time by creating a
“Speed Networking” event.
 We
had one member, over a martini, build a new relationship with a
potential client and three weeks later, a million dollar deal
was struck! We believe we can grow this concept here in Las
Vegas, where it is truly the city of “who you know”.
Speed
Networking allows each person the opportunity to meet 10-15
people in a very short period of time. Within a 3 minute
conversation, each person shares their “Commercial” if you will,
explaining their company’s expertise and benefits.
It’s the
corporate equivalent of speed dating, invented in the late 90’s
by a rabbi hoping to fix up Jewish singles, a practice that has
since spread widely.
The appeal of
Speed Networking is that is eliminates the mundane chit-chat and
cuts right to the chase. It’s also in a venue that is more
conducive to building a relationship which seems to be the
“buzz” and early successes of our attendees.
Entrepreneur.com says, “The concept may be daunting to shyer
entrepreneurs, but if you can keep up your energy and focus in a
room buzzing with chatter, you may want to be on the lookout for
an event near you.”
Each event
has a different variation but all have the same purpose, match
making for business associates who want to partner, learn, buy,
sell and mingle.
Speed
Networking events are one of the fastest growing forms of
structured networking in the world.
You can
attend these type events at the House of Blues in Chicago or at
the Metropolitan in New York, but we will be having these events
every month at the Four Seasons Hotel here in Vegas.
And no matter
what the venue-- professionals agree without these networking
events it would take years to do what you can accomplish with
one single event.
