Admit or Not, It's the Truth

My Vegas is more than casinos and hotels
Much more than whistles and bells
It's not about the buffet
Or all the games you can play.

Vegas locals are a bit of a clan

Ever since this valley began
It's been us locals, the Vegas purists
Sort of trying separate from our tourists.
It's considered upper class now to declare
"The Strip?  Oh we don't go anywhere near."
The hotels far to the east and west
Are the local's best.
There is a great divide
The Vegan with pride
From the tourist's hide
This cannot be denied
Sorry folks but it's the truth
Ain't we just so uncouth
