After 10 Years Of Traveling, Paul Oakenfold Has Finally Found A Home At Rain Nightclub

Las Vegas based N9NE Group and Palms Casino Resort proudly announce Paul Oakenfold, one of the world’s leading DJ/remixers, to hold court at Rain Nightclub beginning this Fall in his first Resident DJ position in the United States.

“Paul Oakenfold Presents: Perfecto Las Vegas” was conceptualized specifically for Rain Nightclub, the legendary 25,000 square-foot nightclub and concert venue at the Palms Casino Resort known for its special effects and international headliner acts. Named after his label, Perfecto Records, the show will take place every Saturday beginning August 30th through Summer 2009. Oakenfold is slated to perform at 26 of the show dates with other internationally-acclaimed DJs performing in his absence. “This will be the most extravagant nightlife experience Las Vegas has ever seen,” says N9NE Group Vice President Michael Fuller. “It will include everything from video and audio entertainment to performance artists and props.” Oakenfold’s residency starts immediately following the completion of his global “Greatest Hits & Remixes Tour,” a 20-selection strong collection of his seminal dance recordings and remixes that celebrates the career of an artist whose combined releases have totaled almost two million in sales in the U.S. alone. Oakenfold is a two-time GRAMMY? nominee, and his 2004 album “Another World” remains the best selling dance album of all time. Oakenfold has previously held DJ residencies at Cream Nightclub and Home @ Leicester Square in the U.K.

The N9NE Group’s dedication to diversifying the types of music played at its venues was a key factor in Oakenfold’s decision to sign on as Resident DJ of Rain Nightclub. “There is nowhere in America other than Las Vegas that I would want to be a resident DJ,” Oakenfold says. “It is the world’s oyster, and the Perfecto nights at Rain Nightclub are going to take clubbing to a whole new level.”
