A great send off was held for Sgt. Debra Galan this past Sunday. Many friends gathered for a wonderful afternoon to wish Debra a safe trip back to Afghanistan. Some attending like Debra were impersonators/entertainers and rose to the occasion to belt out some great tunes for us all to enjoy. Some entertainers that joined in were Chuck Baker, C.C. Carter, Robert Ensler, C. J. Decker and Gary Allen to name just a few.

 

We’d like to thank the entertainers and the VFW Hall #1753 for a well deserved tribute to one of our local military heroes and a wonderful young women, Sgt. Debra Galan.

 

We ran into many old friends including VCO fellow columnists Bea Fogelman, Kid Cary, Jerry Marcellino and Johnathan Abbinett, also attending, who we were pleased to have met was Chuck Baker, Editor of "Veterans Reporter"
