Dave
Anderson is from Chicago, and the founder of Famous Dave's BBQ. This
is a real American success story, starting just 14 years ago, in 1994;
Dave purchased a small resort on Big Round Lake in Hayward, Wisconsin.
The resort had a restaurant and bar he demolished it and rebuilt in the
style of an Adirondack Lodge and named it "Famous Dave's BBQ Shack." In
just a few short years Dave Anderson has 168 Famous Dave's across the
USA.
I had a good time and really filled up on BBQ. Everyone was great; they
even gave me a kitchen tour. After the waitress found out I was a
world-class eater, she challenged me to an eating contest. You will
have to watch my video to see who won.
Famous Dave's is a fun place to eat and they have three locations, all
on the west side of Vegas. I live on the East side, so it's a long
drive for me, but worth it.
