It must be love -- and you can Believe it! Hot celebrity couple Criss Angel and Holly Madison are inseparable when The Girls Next Door blonde beauty commutes in for her now-weekly romantic rendezvous. On their latest whirlwind, late-night partying around town, they came oh-so-close to a marriage proposal!
Holly flew into town to celebrate Thanksgiving with Criss and his family. The night before, the twined twosome showed up at fellow magician Amazing Johnathan’s show at the Harmon Theater in Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile. They stopped in at Iron Chef Kerry Simon’s Cathouse restaurant at the Luxor for the weekly Vanity party and sat alongside former Formula One racecar driver and seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher with boxing bigwig Mike Tyson at the other adjoining table!
Criss and Holly later cozied up in their luxury VIP both on the main stage downstairs at LAX, where Schumacher had been joined by fellow driver Mario Andretti. Palms mogul George Maloof took his brother Phil, who heads up Maloof Music and Movies, to LAX for the fun and festivities, too.
However, it was a surprise visit to mentalist Gerry McCambridge’s show at Hooters that set off the wedding rumors! It was Holly’s first time watching the mentalist at work, but Criss co-starred with Gerry as a judge on the TV show The Mentalist. In the finale, Gerry invited a couple on stage to assist him. Gerry told me: “A fan of my show at Hooters and my TV show had asked me if he could propose to his girlfriend during my show. I tricked her into “volunteering,” and when they were both up there to help in my lottery routine, I told her before I predict the winning numbers that I sensed he wanted to say something special to her.

“He turned to his girlfriend, dropped to one knee and proposed in front of the sold-out crowd. Fortunately, she accepted, and then they both started crying and hugging. I made a bottle of champagne appear instantly, and we popped the cork to toast the occasion.
“I told the audience it was a very special night not only because of the proposal, but because we had Criss and Holly in the audience -- and I invited them up on stage to join the newly engaged couple. Criss made a joke and asked them if they’d proposed because of my mind tricks. The entire audience yelled out ‘Congratulations’ to the two loving couples as we raised our glasses to toast the union. I couldn’t resist asking them if anyone else wanted to propose to their lady on the special night.”
That set off alarm bells with people immediately wondering if Criss and Holly would be next!
Gerry said: “I don’t know but they were holding each other tightly while watching my show. They look at each other with those eyes that are so loving, you have to believe they are a couple truly in love with each other.”
In all the excitement, Criss didn’t notice that Gerry’s onstage set at Hooters includes a montage of edited shots of the Strip all assembled together -- and in the image of the Luxor, Gerry had edited in as a tribute a photo of a floating Criss!
Criss and Holly were completely comfortable laughing about the engagement come-on, but they were swarmed by fans at the show and had to be taken out of a back entrance of Hooters by two bodyguards who were worried about the crowd.
Since going public with their romance, this is now the seventh consecutive week that Criss and Holly have palled up to spend his days off together -- and I’m told safely she will be back again this week, too!
