Come Cruise With Me!

When I won my championship in Pendleton, (did I mention that there were over 600 players!), along with the cash money, I won a Wildhorse sterling silver bracelet and a poker cruise! The bracelet is masculine, probably because, to my knowledge, a female has never won an open field event there. Many have gotten close, myself included, but to actually win first place is a real feather in my hat. I tried wearing my great big beautiful championship bracelet but my arm was so heavy I couldn't lift it. Keep in mind that the last syllable in the world championship is "ship". To add icing to this marvelous cake, for the first time, the casino gave away poker cruises to all first place winners. So ... come cruise with me! We are sailing to the Western Caribbean March 14-22, 2009, out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Our ports of call are Cozumel, Mexico, Limon, Costa Rica, and Colon, Panama. There will be a poker room, poker tournaments, and if you're so inclined, blackjack tournaments. The tournaments will run from $125 to $550 and there will be $60 satellites for the main event. There also will be a LIPS tournament! There will be cocktail parties and a poker seminar hosted by yours truly and a few other pros. By the way, my man Roland Waters, Tournament Director at the Wildhorse Casino will be the Tournament Director on board the ship. If he runs a tournament as well at sea as he does on dry land, it will be well run!
