There is a kabbalistic concept that states: one of the reasons we have curses is because we don't see our blessings.

What blessings do you want to focus on today? Pick at least one and keep it in your inner vision all day long.

Would you like to experience a giant growth spurt today?

Ask someone you don't know too well what they think about you. Seeking feedback from peers and strangers, who ideally don't have any stake in anything other than speaking their truth as they see it, is a great kabbalistic growing tool.

The impact of this type of feedback can be much greater on you, therefore, the potential for change is also much greater.

In our daily lives, as spiritual people, one of our greatest struggles is to look past the hologram that the ego projects: I'm a victim, no one understands me, that was my idea, I'll show them, and so on.

One of my favorite classes in the Spirituality for Kids curriculum is the one where we teach kids to turn down the volume on the voice of the Opponent, and turn up the volume of the voice of the Light. The kids understand that they're bombarded by the broadcast of their Opponent, so why is it so hard for us as adults?

Today, turn down the voice of the Opponent and turn up the voice of the Light. You'd be amazed at the beautiful background music you'll hear the sounds of your soul.

The Kabbalists teach that the Light created our world with mercy. We would not live out the day without it.

The question is, do we extend it to others? Or better yet, do we extend it when it's difficult for us? When we are consistent in our love and mercy, thinking only of improving someone else's life, the Light will be there for us.

Today, put the brakes on the instinct to judge and criticize and separate. Someone else's life - and your own - depends on your ability to open your heart.

We start off every day with our Light and dark forces in perfect balance. 50/50. The Creator oversees the entire the process. Every time we give in to a reactive behavior, we tilt our scale down. Every time we accept an opportunity to help, to extend ourselves, to do something unexpected, we tilt it up. It's math.

Today, keep score with your feelings, thoughts and actions. It will help you to not just keep a healthy balance but to overcome darkness. Because sometimes things may look dark but in reality you are just one stretch away from being in the Light.

My job as a teacher is to create a window of opportunity for the student to enter a different reality, a higher version of their life where they believe in their abilities and potential. Believe is the wrong word - where they know it.

It may take a week, a month, a year, a decade - it's up to them to go when they are ready. It's not my job to push them, just to keep it open. I've had the same conversation with someone, over and over, for years, and finally one day the Light bulb went off.

Is there someone in your life that's frustrating you because they don't get it? Be patient. As long as you stay true, unconditional, open, and caring, they'll get it when the time is right. Your test is to keep your excitement and commitment levels high and rising.and successful. Fantasize with the intent of activating these deep desires and allow these universal forces inside you to unfold.

Dreams are vitally important to our existence. They're not just fantasies that are meant to entertain us as we live out our days monotonously. Rather they're our greatest potential whispering to us and motivating us to reveal that potential in the world.

Unfortunately, most of us abandon our dreams in childhood. Settling for what we think life is supposed to be, rather than what we dream it can be. We lose the enthusiasm and motivation for our greatest goals, and stop even daring ourselves to think of such things.

Today, remember this: everything starts with a thought. Allow yourself to cook up the infinite ways in which you can be happy and successful. Fantasize with the intent of activating these deep desires and allow these universal forces inside you to unfold.
