It's time to separate the boys from the men (Mona is obviously above all this), so here goes!   Buffalo PK over San Diego   This would be the sexiest game of the week if it wasn't being played in Buffalo.  The Bills will take their home field advantage and give the Chargers a short circuit.  Playing in SD would give an edge to the Bolts, but they can't seem to get it together if the temperature is non tropical.   Rams + 7 over Dallas   No, I'm not drinking the Saint Louis Kool-Aid, I just thing the Cowboys are a mere shadow of what most people thing they are.  There's a good bet Brad Johnson will be their QB and well, need I say more?   Baltimore +3 over Miami   Miami -3?  This has got to be a trap. The bookies are thinking we're too distracted by the baseball to bet defensively.  Miami's had a good little run, but the Ravens are too many birds of a defense feather for the Fins.   The rest:   Titans, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, St. Louis, Chicago, New Orleans, Giants, Houston, Jets, Washington, Indy, Tampa Bay, Denver!! In spite of this past week’s short comings on my part, the Beasts still top the Beauties in the VCO Friday Flyer Football, Beauty and the Beast competition, by the score of 22-11-3 (includes two ties and Ike.) for the Beasts to 17-19 for the Beauties.

The Mouth came in at 3-0. Mona close behind at 2-1 and Casey and yours truly at, can you say 0 and 3?

My Star picks had a woeful week as well. They went 4 and 4, but my top three choice all lost to the tune of minus 4 ½ stars. For the season however, I’m 14-11 plus 12 stars

Alright you lucky dogs; now that I've made you rich (I do take tips by the way) I shall attempt to divine some winners from this weeks NFL slate which frankly has me befuddled. Don't you just hate that when the "boys" make a good line. Here’s my best shot........tread lightly.

Seahawks +10½   Wow, can Tampa really be a double digit favorite over anyone? Let's pay to find out.

Saints + 3            This is iffy but I say go with the team on a roll. Panthers returned to earth last week with a stinker reminiscent of many I suffered through last year. Feels like 'déjà vu" all over again.

Colts -1½            I don't know if the "Pack is Back" but perhaps the Colts are. Believe me this is at best a lukewarm lean. The boss says I have to pick 3 games so...........
