Hoop Time

The "Positive ROI 5" Butler, Drake, New Mexico, UMass and Davidson went a respectable 7-2 SU and a less than respectable 4-4-1 ATS this past week. Seven of the games were close, two were "blow outs", both involving New Mexico. ( A 19 point loss to UNLV and a 40 pt. triumph over Colo. St.

Looking towards "March Madness" three (Davidson, Drake and Butler) of the "Pos. 5" are comfortably atop their conference. While UMass. might have to win the Atlantic 10 division finals and New Mexico might have to prevail in 75% of their remaining games (not a difficult task, since they have won three quarters (17 out of 23) of their games thus far) in order to go to the "Big Dance"

This next week will tell us more as each member has 2 games to contest. All 10 are conference games and each involves a spread.

For the season all "Pos 5" teams, past and present, are 76-32 SU and 56-34-1 62% ATS.........
