Boxing continues to draw its share of fans at hotel-casinos and resorts in California, especially at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Ca. Goossen Tutor Promotions will present a WBO welterweight world championship fight on Sat. Feb. 9. WBO Welterweight World Champion Paul “The Punisher” Williams (33-0-24 KOs) 25-year-old southpaw from Augusta, Ga., is billed as the most feared fighter in the world and will defend his title against left-handed Carlos “El Indio” Quintana (24-1-19 KOs) age 31, from Puerto Rico.

Sasseville Young Show Host

Jake Sasseville, a 23 year old college student who relocated from Maine to New York City is living his dream to host his own late-night talk show. The persistent young man didn’t take no for an answer from investors. He got Ford Motor Co., Overstock.com, Red Bull and Bed Head, interested in backing his show by partnering with them.

More than a half million in national ad dollars was committed before the television pilot of the talk show was produced. “The Edge with Jake Sasseville” premieres Feb 14 in 40 markets nationwide after “Jimmy Kimmel Live” for 13-weeks on ABC affiliates.

The weekly show is expected to reach more than 35 million households. Because of deals Sasserville made with investors and the ABC affiliates, PR-advertising agencies are after him.

“It’s about brand marketing and interactive integration initiatives where the sponsors are incorporated into the show,” Sasseville said.
