Clark County Parks and
Recreation is recruiting
individuals 15 1/2 years and
older. Training is at a reduced
rate ($25 for Lifeguard or $40
for WSI certification) for those
who sign an employment contract.
Positions available from $7.50
hr. - $14 hr. depending on
experience and certifications.

calling the Seasonal Aquatics
Office at 455-8508 or the Desert
Breeze Aquatic Facility at
455-7798.
Clark County is an Equal
Opportunity Employer. Curriculum
includes lifesaving skills, CPR
for the Professional Rescuer,
Automated External Defibrillator
and Emergency First Aid.
Pre-requisite skills include the
ability to tread water with
weight and a 300-yard swim.
Class fee for those not
interested in employment with
Clark County is $125 and
includes book and certification
fees. Pre-registration required.
All classes must be attended to
successfully complete the
course.

Spend some quality time with your family as you
float in the indoor pool and watch a movie! No
pre-registration required, regular admission
fees apply though for each paying adult, one
child may enter for FREE! Children under
the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult who
is within an arm's reach at all times. Family
movie to be shown will be announced one week
prior to event.

CCSD Spring Break ages: 8-11
Monday – Friday, 9 - 4 p.m. Cost: $55
A swimming and volleyball day camp that will
consist of drills, activities, movies, and
recreation oriented competition related to each
sport. Pre-requisite: Must be able to swim 50
yards of the pool independently using an
over-arm stroke with rhythmic breathing. It is
highly recommended that the participant complete
Level IV swim lessons. Participants must bring
their own lunch everyday, lunch will not be
provided. It is also recommended for
participants to bring a towel, goggles and
sunscreen each day. |
