Way to Skateboard down LUXOR

Danny Way was spotted at The Luxor with engineers developing a ramp that would make it possible for Danny to skate board down the side of the Luxor and jump the Sphynx in front..  In 1997  Danny broke the world record for the highest air on a skateboard, did a 12-foot kick flip, and became the first (and still only skateboarder) to drop out of a helicopter into a ramp. The Bomb Drop was born. Danny repeats the Bomb Drop in 1999 with a dislocated shoulder for MTV's Sports and Music Festival. Despite his injury he stays on to compete and win in the high air contest.  In 2002 after numerous reconstructive surgeries Danny conceives the idea of the first Megaramp. Danny to sets a new Longest Distance Jumped record of 65 feet and a new Height Out Of A Ramp record at 18 feet, 3 inches. The second version of the Megaramp is built  in 2003 at Point X Camp. Danny breaks two world records in one run. -Longest Distance Jumped at 75 feet and Height Out Of A Ramp (Backside Air) at 23.5 feet. June 19th, On July 9, 2005  Danny becomes the first person to jump the Great Wall of China on a skateboard .  In 2005 Barely able to walk, Danny wins his second Big Air Gold Medal at X Games XI. Almost a year later in April of 2006 Danny drops 82 feet from the top of the guitar over the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas and takes Bomb Drop record to 24 feet.  Now he is back in Las Vegas trying something new.

Right Gin is coming back to the Palms with DJ Paul Oakenfold for the Nightclub & Bar –Beverage and Food Show 2008. On Monday, March 25th, Altamar Brands, LLC, will celebrate the Nightclub & Bar show with an exclusive invite-only event at The Palms’ Hardwood Suite. Guests will be joined by painted Right girls and treated to specialty Right Gin cocktails.

McCormick And Schmick’s 4th Annual St. Paddy’s Day  Celebration

McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant, located at 335 Howard Hughes Center, will be celebrating the inner Irish in all with a special St. Patrick’s Day party on Monday, March 17th at 5pm. Yellowtail Sushi Restaurant & Bar scheduled to open in June 2008 at Bellagio Resort & Casino, just steps away from the Light Group’s chic Caramel Bar & Lounge, FIX Restaurant & Bar and sophisticated nightclub The Bank. Yellowtail will offer an extensive Japanese menu of fresh, ingredient-driven cuisine for both the sushi novice and connoisseur in a sumptuous and highly stylized surrounding. Overlooking Bellagio’s iconic lake in which fountains perform a magnificent aquatic ballet choreographed to music and lights.
