Real Women Have Curves 

 

 

I have been inspired to write a book (already half way done) and facilitate a workshop that celebrates women’s bodies.

 

I am looking for women who are willing to be interviewed about their feelings and experiences on body image and their femininity.

 

You are invited to come and spend a day with other women in a safe, nurturing, non-judgmental atmosphere to discuss these issues.

 

Are you tired of being compared to the super models?

Do you wish that people especially strangers would see past your size and see the real you?

 

Do you want to re-discover the beautiful, glowing, powerful and sexy woman that you are and learn how to share that part of you to the world?

 

This informal small group workshop format provides an opportunity to participate in creating a safe space for women to tell their stories, celebrate their bodies, connect with their inner beauty and change the way they see, with their eyes, their hearts and their spirits. It is open to women of any age and size, however full figure women are especially encouraged to attend. The workshop is facilitated by a full figure woman so no need to feel intimidated!

 

The day will consist of conscious breathing, visualization, meditation, journaling, drawing, movement, and discussion. The process is designed to facilitate the journey to self-love and empowerment, assist in remembering one’s true essence within, and offer tools for bringing one’s inner wisdom to bear on the external experience.

 

The location will be held in my home where you can feel free to get comfortable and be in a safe, nurturing environment.

 

A healthy lunch will be provided along with materials to take home.
