Is it by chance or by design
How we choose our valentine
To make thine mine
Our lives to intertwine
Please give me a sign

So our hearts can combine
You could take me to fine dine
Offer me wine

Bring a gem that will shine
All of these I will decline
None of them will tow the line
A greater divine must assign

Someone to put me on cloud nine
