Dog Park Location and Amenities

 
 

Desert Breeze Park Dog Park
8425 W. Spring Mountain Road (at Durango)
These dog runs are located on the south side of the park off the park road and is accessible from either Durango or Spring Mountain. The runs include: benches, trees, waste receptacles and water taps. Two runs are available, one for dogs under 30 pounds and the other for dogs over 30 pounds. 

Desert Inn Dog Park
3570 Vista del Monte
This neighborhood dog park includes sitting areas and water taps. 

Dog Fancier's Park
5800 E. Flamingo Road (cross streets E. Flamingo/Jimmy Durante) 
This facility is for canine enthusiasts and allows for training off-leash (as long as the owner/handler still has control of the animal.) Please note that on some evenings and weekends groups often reserve the park for dog shows and related activities. Call 455-8200 to see if the Dog Fancier's Park is available for off-leash use.

Molasky Park Dog Run

1065 E. Twain 
Dog runs are located off of Katie Rd. and include: sitting areas, waste receptacles and water taps. There are three dog runs at this new 10-acre park. 

Shadow Rock Park Dog Park
2650 Los Feliz (cross streets Lake Mead past Hollywood)
The dog run is located east of park area toward the mountain which provides a beautiful and relaxing environment to exercise your pets. The facility also includes: tree, two shade shelters, benches, trash cans, waste receptacles and water taps. 

Silverado Ranch Park Dog Park
9855 S. Gillespie
Silverado Ranch dog runs include: benches, lights, water. Two runs are available, one for dogs under 30 pounds and the other for dogs over 30 pounds. This facility was renovated in 2003.

Sunset Park Dog Park
2601 E. Sunset Rd.
There are two dog runs on the south side of Sunset Lake for large and small pets. These include: benches, tables, nearby restrooms, waste receptacles, and water taps. The closest parking is off Eastern Ave. between Sunset and Warm Springs roads. 

Please note that owners of dogs off their leashes in any county park, when spotted by a Park Police officer, will be given a one time warning unless your dog poses a threat, at which time you will be cited. If you are stopped a second time for an off-leash violation the fine is a $250 ticket.

Please Note:
Dogs must be on a leash and under owner's control in county parks. Owners whose dogs are off-leash will be given a warning, and will be cited for the second infraction. Owners whose dogs are off-leash and are deemed a threat by Park Police will be cited immediately with no warning. The citation carries a fine of $250.
