Busy at the Palms Last weekend
Ryan Sheckler
(pro-skateboarder, and MTV "Life of Ryan" star)
was amongst the athletes at
N9NE Steakhouse over the
weekend. He was having dinner with
his father, who just got a Tattoo at Hart-n-Hunington
moments prior. According to Producers of the
show, Ryan insisted on going to N9NE Steakhouse
for dinner where they were being filmed for
"Life of Ryan". Friday afternoon
Ryan was filming inside
The Pink Taco at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Adrianne Curry and husband Christopher Knight
dined at Nove Italiano before hosting a night at
Playboy Club. Their new season of the
VH1 reality show "My Fair Brady"
is debuting soon. They were hanging out at a
table on the dancefloor at Playboy Club with
eight friends. Curry
only got off the dance floor to do shots with
her guests, but she did pause for a few photos
with fans. As the night went on, she started
dancing on the GoGO Platforms with the dancers
by her table. Here is a picture of the happy
couple with
NI9E Group
marketing wizard Dave Guiterez.

Brandi Ryan
(a main contender for Tila Tequila's reality
show) was at
Playboy Club with her friend
Cherish Lynn, who is a DJ Promoter in Orange
County. They had a table, but were way too busy
dancing to sit down. The female Playboy Club
staff had a hard time concentrating once they
saw Brandi, who was having a great time, and
even had O-B-1 play
"Girls Just Want to have Fun" so
she could grove to it. After Playboy Club, she
went upstairs to
MOON Nightclub and danced on the
Catwalk. She talked the A-V guys into opening
the roof at 3:45am in the freezing cold! But she
got the crowd going even as faux snow fell on
the dancefloor.
Suge Knight
was spotted at
N9NE Steakhouse again, this time
having dinner with two ladies. They shared two
Wedge salads and the steakhouse's signature Rock
Shrimp appetizer and a Caesar salad. Knight
washed down his Lobster Mac & Cheese and Mashed
Potatoes were washed down with a Grey Goose and
Cranberry, while the ladies drank a Disarona
with Sour and a Granny Smith Apple Martini.
Always popular with
professional athletes, N9NE Steakhouse
guests this weekend included
Melvin Fowler (Buffalo Bills) and Pete Rose
(former MLB payer and manager). Melvin dined
with a large group of 11 men, including
Trent Edwards (Buffalo Bills).
Melvin had the Rock Shrimp and a Kobe Beef
Burger with Applewood Smoked Bacon, Aged
Cheddar, Blue Cheese and Grilled Onions. He
drank Malibu Pineapples and later shared N9NE
Steakhouse signature Espresso Shots with the
whole table. Pete and his five guests had the
N9NE Steakhouse Chilled Shellfish Platter and
Rock Shrimp. Rose couldn't get enough of the
restaurant's seafood, also adding shrimp to his
Iceberg Wedge Salad.
Retired NHL player Adam Oates
had dinner at Nove Italiano over the weekend
with his lady and another couple. Before leaving
he sighed Chef Geno's famous Shakedown Wall of
Fame.
Sammy Hagar to Perform at The Pearl on "Big
Game Weekend"...

F&B cover Boy rocker makes a stop
in Vegas at the Palms on February 2nd
While thousands are in town for football, some
have good ol’ fashion rock ‘n’ roll on their
minds. This Big Game weekend, The Palms will be
chock full with festivities, including a
headlining concert with our friend and
TheVegasEye.com reader Sammy Hagar. The singer
truly began to be a household name in the mid
‘80s when he fronted the already formed Van
Halen, replacing David Lee Roth. Hagar comes to
The Pearl Concert Theater on Saturday, February
2, 2008, at 8 p.m. for what is sure to be a
winning performance. Visit
www.palmspearl.com for more
infomation.
After leading multiple bands throughout the ‘60s
and ‘70s, Hagar went solo for some time before
joining the rock group Van Halen. In the late
‘70s, he released a self-titled album which went
gold. In 1981, he released
Standing
Hampton, followed by 1982
Three Lock Box
– the albums reached platinum and gold status
respectively.
In 1984, before joining Van Halen, Hagar
released
VOA which featured the popular song
“I Can’t Drive 55.” The following year, Hagar
became the new voice of Van Halen and recorded
5150
which was released in 1986. Hagar remained with
the band through several years and several hit
albums including
For Unlawful
Carnal Knowledge (1991),
Live: Right
Here, Right Now (1993) and
Balance
(1995).
The following year Hagar was back on the solo
track with much speculation on his departure
from Van Halen. The media attention helped
propel his first solo release
Marching to
Mars (1997) in to the Top 20. It was
Hagar’s first solo release in more than 10
years. He followed his reemergence as a solo
artist with the release
Red Voodoo
in 1999. Hagar released more solo albums with
the most recent being 2006’s
Livin’ It Up!
This Weekend at THE BANK...
