The Art Institute of Las Vegas opened its professional exhibit space two
years ago to showcase industry-relevant shows and displays and to promote
the artistic accomplishments of its students and faculty. While the programs
at The Art Institute of Las Vegas focus on the applied arts, the faculty
exhibit combines traditional and contemporary fine art with commercial
applications, demonstrating a breadth of techniques and interests. On
display are pieces ranging from sugar art sculpted by Baking & Pastry
instructor Fleming Pedersen to design sketches by Interior Design instructor
Wayne Wiram.
²We are pleased to be a part of a growing and thriving Las Vegas arts
scene,² says John Delisle, head of the school¹s gallery committee and
Graphic Design instructor. ³The gallery provides our students and the Las
Vegas community the opportunity to see the only-industry-related shows
hosted in the area. We push our students to further their artistic talents
and this exhibit allows them to experience the work that we instructors have
created.²
The Art Institute of Las Vegas Gallery is open Monday Friday, 8 a.m. 8
p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. 4:00 p.m. The Art Institute of Las Vegas is
located off the 215 Freeway at Green Valley Parkway at 2350 Corporate Circle
