 The
intent of this e-Magazine is to bring you information about
diabetes and to help empower ALL people living with diabetes
through the combination of "Education & Entertainment", what we
call "Edutainment". The "Edutainment" principal is what "Bob &
Marcel" will utilize in their upcoming "Bob & Marcel's Diabetic
Life Show as well. Additionally, we use the
TEAM approach by joining forces with what we consider the "Best
of the Best". These people and organizations truly have the best
interest of ALL people living with diabetes at heart. They are
mainly concerned about how to get the information out to people
and help provide direction for other areas of diabetes help.
We know that
diabetes is a serious disease, Bob, one of his daughters and his
Father
live with diabetes and sadly he lost his Mother to complications
from it. Isn't it bad enough that we are bombarded with too
much, overly serious and highly technical information that
causes viewers and readers to become frustrated, scared and
turned off to the point of not getting the information that
could make a difference in their life? Yes, we agree that it
hurts not to get this information, so this is just one of the
reasons why Bob & Marcel bring you this magazine in its current
format. Learning should be fun. It should get and keep your
attention and make you want to learn more. Hey, it's your
life, so shouldn't it be your choice to enjoy what you
are reading and watching... Ok good, we agree.
We would also
like to hear from you. If you have a story about your diabetic
life, send it to us. It may help someone who is going through a
similar situation and your information could give them hope and
possibly direction for their life. So sit down and put your
fingers to the keyboard. There is a very good chance you will
become a published author in the pages of Diabetic Life and your
