A safe, fun, affordable, family-oriented, |

world class recreational shooting facility |

|
Currently the
Shooting Park is under construction for a water system. Onsite activity
will begin in early January 2008. According to the planning
schedule, the civil plans will go to bid in mid-January 2008 and
the building plans to bid in March 2008. February 2009 has
been set for construction completion. A Public Module was designed to
meet the needs of the citizens of Clark County for recreational and
training activities. The park will have a large trap and skeet facility
that will be able to host shotgun events. Please review the master plan
listed below for future items. Yellow areas will be constructed as the
public module and green areas are future event ranges (event module),
and the blue areas are future service items such as campgrounds (service
module). Development of these future facilities is dependent upon
funding. Recent legislation gave us the authority to raise funds through
the use of naming rights. When fully completed the Clark County Shooting
Park will be the largest public recreational shooting facility in the
Country.
The park is located at the north end of Decatur
Blvd. with the entrance at Decatur and Moccasin.
