PAMELA LEAVES VEGAS FOR THE DOWN-UNDER “BIG BROTHER” HOUSE AND CREATES HEADLINE HAVOC

The Australian “tough as Crocodile Dundee” gossip press criticized blonde-bombshell Pamela Anderson from the moment she landed down under, direct from her birthday celebration in Vegas:

*They lambasted her for her antics at the party in LAX nightclub at the Luxor with a sexually suggestive birthday cake and finger feeding it to Mindfreak magician Criss Angel.

*They bashed her for arriving with an apparent smaller bust-line than her naked Playboy layouts.

*They raked her over the coals for plotting a PETA attack on Australian food interests and her plea to the Prime Minister about doing more for the animals than just being food! “She’s baring her own animal rights claws,” headlined one tabloid.

*They ridiculed her for the ridiculously skimpy white hot pants and matching halter-top she wore before entering the Big Brother TV house and then the plunging red mini- dress for her first scenes to talk to the contestants in their Diary Room.

*They condemned her for attacking the KFC fried chicken retail chain, which, ironically, is actually sponsoring her Big Brother TV, show! (Is that biting the hand that feeds you?)

Pamela has said that today (THURS) when she leaves the house after the three-day captivity she will go to a KFC restaurant on Australia’s Gold Coast near Brisbane and “create a stir” to protest their alleged ill-treatment of chickens. “She’s ready to cause havoc,” reported The Australian newspaper quoting her celebrity handler down-under, Max Markson: “She will definitely be taking some kind of public action.”

The 41-year-old princess of pulchritude and former Vegas Beauty of Magic showgirl said she was being paid a lot of money “much more than I am worth” for her boost-the-ratings “seclusion.” To further enhance her own bottom-line Pamela also has her own upcoming American reality-show cameras filming her being filmed for Australian TV. Her episode for Big Brother is titled “Tricks of the Trade” and will include the contestants photographing a mock pinup calendar. Pamela says she won’t go nude for the photo sessions even though she admitted her main mission these days is “saving animals and being naked.”

To date the contestants have been “trapped” inside the house for 73 days and at first they thought she was just a celebrity impersonator—and not the real star. One of the producers confirmed: “It took six months to finally succeed in getting Pamela to go through with the 48-hours of imprisonment, but it adds a perv-factor that’s bound to be grand for ratings.”

PAM-DEMONIUM AND CHAOS AS SEX SYMBOL STARTS HER ANIMAL RIGHTS PROTEST

Bolstered by massive TV ratings, sex symbol pinup Pamela Anderson carried through with her threat to protest the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant chain, despite being paid an alleged $500,000 for her three-day stint in the Big Brother house TV show sponsored by the fast-food empire!

The former Baywatch busty blonde bombshell delivered a letter of complaint and videotape documenting their alleged abuses to a KFC outlet in the Southport area of Brisbane on Australia’s Gold Coast tourist strip. She was mobbed by hundreds of fans when she railed against the company’s treatment of chickens and called for less cruel methods of their slaughter. Bodyguards and extra security were called in to help her high-heel it through the crowds. She wore an extremely short skimpy tight pair of orange shorts and an unbuttoned low-cut white shirt to display maximum cleavage for her PETA demonstration of dissent.

“I’ve been in Australia filming Big Brother, in which my housemates and I are confined and sealed off from the outside world, much like the chickens who are crammed inside barns for KFC,” she said in the letter, which was released by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).”Fortunately, I won’t be stomped to death, have my legs broken or be scalded to death in a tank of hot water, yet as PETA’s undercover videos have revealed, the chickens raised for KFC’s restaurants in Australia often suffer these abuses.”

KFC, ironically a major sponsor of her “Big Brother” program, released a statement denying the claims: “KFC does not own or operate any chicken farms but works with reputable suppliers, industry and government authorities regarding humane farming practices in accordance with Australian regulations.”

Pamela has also vowed to deliver another letter of complaint about animal cruelty in Australia to the country’s Prime Minister before she leaves for her return to Los Angeles this weekend,

Network 10 Australia claimed her first night’s appearance on the Big Brother show was the biggest and best-ever in TV history “down under” with over 1.4 million viewers tuned in.

Pamela, stayed in the deluxe presidential suite at the lavish Palazzo Versace resort hotel—my former abode when I filmed Get Me Out of Here for ABC TV there! She refused to camp out in the one large bed shared by all the reality show’s contestants. Pamela’s segments on Big Brother, which she’s also filmed for her own upcoming summer reality TV series here were titled Tricks of the Trade demonstrating the “secrets of a Vegas Supernova.” A Vegas sign was displayed prominently throughout the filming of her mock-pinup calendar shoot.

CHER’S “VEGAS RUNAWAY MARRIAGE” REPORT DENIED

Tabloid and Internet gossip reports worldwide are ablaze this morning (THURS) that 62-year-old singing star Cher has married a 36-year-old former Hells Angel biker!

The buzz first broke in advance of tomorrow’s National Enquirer story that Cher, who headlines here at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace had “eloped” and married in a surprise and secret Vegas Ceremony.

I can confirm that not one of my celebrity wedding sources in Vegas has no knowledge whatsoever of the supposed runaway exchange of vows, nor is there any record, at least yet, of a certificate for a license at City Hall!

Cher’s long-term press representative Liz Rozenberg also denies the tale saying Cher won’t be back in Vegas until August. “Cher always promised me if she ever got married again I’d be the flower girl and I didn’t get any such invite. There is no such wedding,” she commented.

Despite the denial, the story is heating up, and Luxe Life will continue to watch it for any further developments.

ABBA SUPERGROUP MEMBERS REUNITE FOR FIRST TIME IN 22 YEARS TO WELCOME “MAMMA MIA!” MOVIE STARS FOR SWEDISH PREMIERE

Just days before the Vegas cast of Mamma Mia! at Mandalay Bay gets to see an advance sneak–preview screening of the new movie version of their musical, the members of the ABBA supergroup have reunited publicly for the first time in maybe, 22 years. (It was back in 1986 when they last performed together in public, although there are rumored reports they played together at a friend’s birthday party in 1999).

Our local actors, singers and dancers will host the special viewing of the new Meryl Streep & Pierce Brosnan movie at the recently-opened Town Square movie complex on Sunday and answer movie-goer questions afterwards. The film gets its American premiere next week with our local theaters starting showings as of next Friday, July 18. Meryl, Pierce and co-stars Colin Firth, Christine Baranski, and Julie Walters traveled to Stockholm for the unique Swedish premiere.

There, ABBA founders Benny Andersson, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Agneta Faltskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, known as Frida, walked down the red carpet to cheers from thousands of fans. It was back in 1974 when they first shot to fame winning the Eurovision Song Contest. Several of the ABBA contingent did attend the Mandalay Bay opening of the musical but they even turned down a $1 billion offer reunion concert tour! Before all four stood with the American stars on the movie theater’s outdoor balcony Meryl hugged and kissed Agnetha and Frida and all posed for photos for fans while dancing together. Meryl revealed it had always been her dream as a movie actress to sing on screen in a musical as the last time she’d performed one was in Oklahoma back in high school.

The movie version of Mamma Mia! is getting rave reviews and ticket sales success, both of which are expected to boost the Mandalay Bay box-office. Already resort executives have extended its run until next Spring although they had previously announced it would wrap its five-year run this summer.

PATRIOTIC STAR-STUDDED “TOPPING OFF” CEREMONY FOR WORLD’S TALLEST TIMESHARE RESORT AND FIRST-EVER CONNECTED TO STRIP CASINO

It was a patriotic and star-studded ceremony at Planet Hollywood Resort to celebrate the “topping off’” of the new PH Towers by Westgate. Country-singer and songwriter Lee Greenwood sang his hit “God Bless the USA” as a 50-foot American flag rose and unfurled at the top of the 52-story building. Rambo superstar Sylvestor Stallone joined with Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons, Planet Hollywood chairman Robert Earl and president Mike Mecca for the event.

Construction had begun in January 2006.

“It is the tallest timeshare building in history,” said Westgate Resorts president David Siegel. “It is the first vacation ownership resort to be fully integrated with a major resort and casino complex. I am especially proud that our development is located at the most significant location on the Strip at its very heart. We are surrounded by the moist prestigious properties in Vegas and it will provide our 400,000 timeshare owners with a vacation experience that unavailable anywhere else in the world.”

Westgate is the largest privately owned timeshare company in the world. David Siegel founded the company in 1970 and he’s grown it into one of the largest developers in America with 28 resorts. Through an exclusive affiliation with Interval International he offers travel opportunities at over 2000 resorts in over 65 countries. He says that when the Vegas project is fully completed by next summer it will total 3.2 million-square-feet with over 1,200 residential units. The top five floors will comprise 32 luxury penthouse suites ranging up to 12,000-square-feet with whirlpool tubs and state of the art home theaters that will rival the best “high-roller” suites at Strip hotels. The remainder of the building features one, two, three and four bed roomed units. When finished the sleek upscale lobby will directly overlook an exotic tropical pool complete with its own sandy beach and private cabanas.
