Eight
years ago.. I could walk.. I was strong.. I could chase my 2
year-old little boy around the house while also enduring the
nausea I was experiencing during the first trimester with my
second son. Eight years ago our country was strong. Of course
we were naive.. but we felt a great pride in our prosperity and
during this "quiet period" we were able to relax. But in the
end our cherished President lied to Congress and to us too.. We
crumbled a little bit and started losing our power and belief in
our governorship. At the same time I started feeling weak.. I
felt kinda numb. I didn't really start thinking I was in
trouble health wise until about the time Al Gore lost the White
House to a C+ student whose brother just happened to be the
Governor of the "Great State of Florida". That year
the President of the United States was decided by a hand recount
of archaic paper ballots and a Supreme Court ruling.
