FBI Probes Vegas Sex Links To Multi-Millionaire Industrialist In A $65,000 A Month Rehab Clinic

FBI agents are here probing links to Vegas prostitutes and escort agencies amidst extraordinary allegations that billionaire Broadcom co-founder Henry Nicholas drugged his business cohorts, hired hookers and maintained a drug and sex dungeon warehouse. Federal prosecutors have charged the industrialist in one of the largest stock-option fraud cases in U.S. history. An 18-page indictment on the charges alleges that Nicholas kept properties here in Las Vegas and in Orange County including a sex and drug warehouse in Laguna Niguel.

Luxe Life has confirmed that FBI agents have questioned several Vegas women who knew the mega-bucks business executive and partied with him. One even told me that the billionaire often recruited good-time girls to party with him here and go to his underground sex-chambers for round-the-clock weekend sex parties.

The 48-year-old industrialist, well known at casinos and nightclubs here for his armfuls of busty blondes, has been indicted with conspiracy and securities fraud in an alleged scheme that ultimately forced Broadcom to write down $2.2 billion in profits last year. Prosecutors said his high-flying lifestyle included jetting around the world in his two private planes, building a secret lair under his house and hiring Vegas strippers to party at a private warehouse stocked with cocaine, methamphetamine and ecstasy drugs. The court documents claim Nicholas hired Vegas prostitutes and escorts for himself, his employees and customers. One claim in the legal documents states that he smoked so much marijuana during a flight on a 2001 private jet flight between Orange County and Las Vegas that the pilot had to put on an oxygen mask.

For the record his defense attorney Gregory Craig said that Nicholas was innocent and would prevail, but in court U.S. Magistrate Arthur Nakazato set bail at $3.3 million. He also ordered random weapons searches and drug tests by the government, home detention, electronic monitoring and the disabling of Nicholas’ two private planes. Nicholas, in handcuffs agreed to the conditions of release. Nakazato said he was concerned that the accused’s extreme wealth could allow him to flee his $18 million Newport Beach home, describing him as “one of the wealthiest men in the world.” “If you flee, I will detain you and I will order an arrest warrant and I’ll have the marshals and the FBI going on a hunt for you,” Nakazato said. “And when they bring you back, I’m not going to show much mercy.” The arraignment was set for next Monday.

The allegations recall two earlier civil lawsuits filed against Nicholas that accused him of rampant drug use and hiring prostitutes. One lawsuit was cited by prosecutors in a motion filed Thursday that sought to deny bail for Nicholas. Nicholas’ former bodyguard and personal assistant, Kenji Kato, filed that suit. A construction crew that claimed they were hired to build an underground lair for Nicholas where he could indulge in sex with prostitutes and drug use filed a second lawsuit last year. The workers claimed Nicholas failed to pay them millions of dollars and used intimidation and death threats to prevent them from leaving the project, which was kept secret from Nicholas’ wife and city inspectors.

Nicholas co-founded Broadcom Corp. in 1991 to make microchips for cell phones and broadband Internet devices. It has reported a strong first-quarter profit and forecast second-quarter sales of $1.08 billion to $1.13 billion, ahead of Wall Street banker predictions. Nicholas was president until his 2003 resignation when he stepped down.

He now faces a total of 21 counts in both indictments. The drug charges carry a maximum combined sentence of 20 years in prison. He could face up to 340 years in prison on the stock backdating charges. He has been at a $66,000 a month Malibu drug rehabilitation clinic since April according to his attorney, presumably the Promises center where Britney Spears and a number of other Hollywood celebrities, have been treated.

OUR SIZZLING STEAMY SEXY EXCLUSIVE LUXE LIFE INTERVIEW WITH BEST-SELLING LUST, LEER AND LOVE AUTHOR JACKIE COLLINS

The world’s best selling beautiful lady author, Jackie Collins launches her 26th book today (WED) and the romance author is on a six-week long nationwide book tour by bus to promote Married Lovers.

Her very first stop was here in Vegas at the Paris resort before going onto other Harrah’s casinos coast-to-coast. Over drinks at Bradley Ogden’s restaurant in Caesars Palace my long-time British pal chatted with me about the new novel.

RL: Married Lovers is a continuation of what book or is it completely new?

JC: It is actually two characters. It is my 26th book, all new characters. It is about a beautiful fitness instructor called Cameron Paradise who comes to Hollywood fleeing from an abusive husband in Australia and interacts with three very high-powered Hollywood couples and changes their lives forever.

RL: Does this go on in real life Hollywood?

JC: Yes. I think it does go on in marriages, you can be married to somebody, but you can meet someone who is your absolute soul mate outside of that marriage. So now there is a dilemma, you have this passion for someone else, but you are still married. I wanted to cover that. It is also about a teenage Russian girl who is abused and is in a brothel in Poland, and then is in Amsterdam on the street. She is rescued by one of my American characters and eventually ends up in Hollywood under incredible circumstances. It is all real life.

RL: So somewhere in Hollywood, there is a former brothel child?

JC: Robin, you know that. I tone everything done, because truth is much stranger than fiction and like me you know where all the secrets are buried.

RL: This tour on a bus, why Harrah’s casinos around the country?

JC: Because they love me. I am a gambler and I write a lot about Vegas so my publicist said let’s go out on a bus to tour. I have this incredible former Mariah Carey bus and it is fantastic. I have a queen-size bedroom and three TV’s. I have already begun writing my 27th book while on the road. It is called Poor Little Bitch Girl. Vegas is the first stop and then six weeks later I’ll be back home in LA finishing off the next one. Vegas has been fun as always and we signed lots of copies for the fans.

RL: So six weeks on the road makes you like a rock star.

JC: It is great. The bus is so great. It has pictures of me and I am going to have so much fun with it. When you go to a casino, you get all the wives when the husbands are gambling. I get to see America. I don’t have any Vegas casino action in this new Married Lovers, but there will be plenty in Poor Little Bitch Girl, because I always come back to Vegas. I love it and the last book Drop Dead Beautiful was about Lucky making another hotel here, but it will come back in a big way in the next book.

RL: Do you think all of your successful books are about escapism because people think the world is going to hell in a handbasket?

JC: You are right. People love to pick up my books and have an escape. People always ask why my characters are good looking, I say why not. They also say why are all the men so well endowed, and I say why not? If I can give happy endings. … I can stand in the hotels and I have info for a million stories. People want my books, Drop Dead Beautiful was a No. 1 hit in 40 different countries. I have sold over 400 million books during my career. It is great. I see rock stars that are like I have sold 40 million records and I am like really? Is that all? Hollywood Wives sold over 15 million copies alone and that’s more than most platinum albums!

RL: What is the challenge that makes you want to keep on writing new books?

JC: I love it. I have a passion for writing. I wake up and I want to create characters. I am lucky and there are few authors that have been around as long as me and still hit the bestseller list. I do it because I love it. I love the adventure and being on a bus and meeting my fans.

RL: Your books are sexier than the Sex in the City blockbuster movie. Infact I think you said there was zero sex in the city?

JC: Well I love the guy, the sexy Italian guy; he is very sexy, there seemed like less sex in the movie than in the show. I love the movie. In my book, Anya when she first comes to America, all she does is watch Sex in the City. She learns English that way and that shoes are very important. She likes Jimmy Choo’s and they are her security blanket. I am watching the show and they don’t seem to have jobs, but they have beautiful apartments and boyfriends and that is the way she feels she should be. Married Lovers has all the usual love and lust that you’d expect. Its hotter between the sheets in my books than anything you see in the movies or on television.

RL: I have to tell you that you are looking great. You keep on looking better everytime we see each other.

JC: I am a low maintenance person. I do everything myself. I don’t have time to do all the things that women in Hollywood do and I wouldn’t anyway. They are so busy with manicures and Pilates and yoga and they all look the same with long blonde hair, the same puffy cheeks, and lips. I don’t know how you tell them apart because the girl you go out with today is the same as the last girl you went out with.

RL: Are you romantically involved these days?

JC: I live my life like a bachelor; I have a man for every occasion. I think that is what keeps me young in mind, spirit and body. I don’t want to live with anybody, and I want to be free. When I was a kid I read Playboy and I envied those guys with the beautiful car, house and music system. I have all that. I can do whatever I want, whenever I want. I am a kick ass woman.

Jackie was also co-captain for the Queens of Hearts all women poker team and we’ll have the results of their game-playing in the World Series of Poker here at Luxe Life tomorrow. (THURS). While Jackie was on the Strip she took in Sir Elton John’s Red Piano show at Caesars Palace where daytime soap opera queen Susan Lucci was also in the audience.

UFC PREZ PLANS SURPRISE SHOCK ANNOUNCEMENT

Expect a five-year blueprint for the future of UFC to be revealed by its president Dana White tomorrow (THURS). He’s going to make a “blow your mind” announcement here in Vegas where his UFC is headquartered and all the details are being kept secret for another 24 hours. Dana claims the earth-shattering deal is only known to his partners, the Fertitta brothers and the lawyers and has been kept secret from the UFC fighters and employees.

Dana will also confirm that star fighter and face of the UFC, Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell will return to fighting with a UFC debut battle in Atlanta.

The former light heavyweight champ suffered a hamstring injury which prevented him fighting against Rashad Evans in UFC 85. With both the CBS and NBC networks planning to broadcast free mainstream mixed martial arts fights, UFC now has to make a major move to improve its Spike cable-TV audience impact to stay No. 1. Insiders claim Dana has pacted a deal that will “blow people’s minds.” Expect the shocker to come late tomorrow afternoon!
